Strange table message

I saw a lot less Failed to sync game update messages tonight, but a LOT more table freezes.
Please bring the messages back!!! LOL

I must says since I started using my phone’s hotspot, haven’t really been having problems. Where I live the T-mobile internet isn’t good. Think I’ve only seen that message once in the last several days

Something I discovered the other day when the internet here was almost non-existent (for the entire region, LAN was out completely, only mobile phones had anything at all) was that if you take the browser (chrome) window off of full screen it greatly improves the speed of syncing the gameplay. The graphics look pretty much the same as the screen is smaller, only the chat box gives away the reduced quality, and your screen stops freezing and giving the messages.

Hi @DaveDiamond,

Thanks for sharing your experience on how to improve your game experience. This is definitely worth trying for other players having similar issues.

No problem. I live in a rural/regional town in South Australia, and they’re shutting down relay towers between the city and where I live over 300kms away one by one to get rid of 3G and enable 5G, so my already slow connection is almost non existent some days. This works to get around having a very slow connection.
I use a mobile phone’s hotspot as my WiFi for the house, so shutting down relay towers, or even just bad weather can really effect my internet speed.

Hi @DaveDiamond,

I hope they enable 5G in your area very soon.

I keep getting this message Failed to sync game updates retrying.
I am not playing on the app so what is this message all about?
It stops me from any action until i have refreshed the page.
I use chrome on android

I thought this issue may have been resolved following the maintenance but I have just been on an MTT game on my desk top and the message has come up on every hand which results in very slow reaction or none at all. I try refreshing the page but it makes no difference and as many people are saying the same thing I do not see how it can be a personal issue

Hi @Zabby4Aces,

The pop-up is there to stay to notify both our players and our Tech Team if there’s a connection issue. It appears that there was some downtime this morning, sorry about that. Our Tech Team was able to resolve it and tables should be running as they should.

Good luck at the tables!

Hi

Thanks for the response

It has certainly been better today with it only popping up very occasionally

Wish I could get some decent cards lol !!

So, months later and this problem still hasn’t been fixed. It occasionally locks up the table and I am unable to play without refreshing. I realize that switching over to Casino will come with problems in the beginning, but this has been going on too long.

Hi Reesepiece,
I know you are frustrated but please remember the message that you are seeing is not a problem it is simply a notification to you that there is a problem somewhere with your connection to Replay. This is better than it used to be when there was no message and the game just stopped and a player had no idea what was happening.

Connection problems can come from anywhere and have been happening long before the casino.org partnership. Most of these connection issues happen out of the control of Replay. There are many links in the chain that connects players to Replay servers and replay controls only the last one.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

The freezes came in the year 2019, in the moment of changing from the Flash tables to HTML.

So, is this a problem with my connection also? I’ve been getting it a lot lately. But hey, maybe it’s just me:

" Oops! I just lost my roulette ball

The link you followed may be broken or has been moved"

If this is what you are seeing:

Failed to sync game updates. Retrying…

Then yes that is the message indicating a connection failure.

The other message indicates a bad link. There were a lot of folks seeing the bad link message during/right after the transition to casino.org. Almost all of those issues were caused by bad links stored in folks browser cache/cookies. Try clearing your cache/cookies. Hopefully that will help.
Cheers.
