For a couple of days now, a message saying “Failed to sync game updates. Retrying…” keeps popping up on most tables, sometimes followed by a table freeze. Screenshot attached.
I sent copy to support yesterday Jonahh, they are getting the tech people to look at it, and their advice is to refresh the page if necessary.
Thanks Kate, messaged as well. I tried refreshing, doesn’t work for me though.

Our Tech Team confirmed this new feature was deployed to give feedback to players’ connection. If you see this message, please refresh your screen it should clear by the time you refresh. If it doesn’t clear, it means there’s a connection issue. We just wrote an article about this topic, please check it out.

I get this message often but the table still runs perfectly fine.
Me too! Just new way to say timed out/sat out.
I saw this message yesterday first time, on 4 tables at same time. All tables was then frozen, sound off. On the next hand was then 5 players sitting out on one 9 seat. Nice to read the problem is my bad internet connection again. Nuts flush on the one table, set of Queens on the other, both on flop.
Nice too: 2x the same table open on MTT, playing on one window without problems, reconnects and freezes on the other window. All because my bad internet connection. LOL.
think we are all getting them.as a matter of fact got those last year also
Thanks for the explanation. Considering the problem:) connections/table freezes haven’t changed, I just assumed it was a diagnostic tool for tech to find the root cuase.
Thanks everyone for your notes. Seeing the pop up means there’s a connection issue either in players’ side or in our server. The system will automatically reconnect if the issue is in our side. We appreciate your patience as our Team works on improving the game experience for you all.
Got the same message several times but it never affected my game so far.
Just noticed this message pop up several times yesterday, based on the number of comments, I don’t think it’s our (the players) connection problem(s).
Is Support looking into it?

Thanks for the update @trash2001. I personally haven’t seen it in yesterday’s Bust the Staff. Some of my colleagues saw the pop up a few times but it didn’t interrupt the game for them.

Thanks for your question. It’s a general connection to the site which could mean from players’ internet connection or our server. Our Tech Team is looking into it. That pop up serves to provide feedback that a connection issue to the site is being experienced. Our system will continuously resync and the message will disappear once connection has been reestablished.
@chipsmama i was also attending yesterday and i got that message again. i had it only once that the table froze for me for few seconds. But here i dont know if it was related to this message. As i said when this message show up i usually dont have problems.

It absolutely can affect the game. I was playing a hand the other day in a ring game, I had the nuts hi and lo, the player to my right went all in, I tried to call him, but that message came up and refused to let me bet. It instead sat me out. Cost me over 8 mil in chips. Everything else on my computer was working fine, so it was not on my end.
