Is The “Helping Hand” Endorsement Used To "Troll?"

Hey, All…
Curious to know if players have ever encountered receiving a
“helping hand” endorsement; not for its intended purpose
with helpful poker info; rather, to troll a player when they lose a hand,
all-in, or in a bad beat manner.

I know the endorsements are probably classified as a; whatever, who cares,
just curious if anyone else has seen this as a strategy to get under one’s skin.

Lastly,
Are we able to see who provides these endorsements?
Making notes for these trolls, and thanking others for their nice gestures.

Thank you for your time.

No they are not intended that way.

I’ve had a few random ones given to me here and there, no idea why, I generally get the Good Sport ones frequently from players I banter with, but those Helping Hand ones are pretty useless, they don’t mean anything.

Helping hand is used MOSTLY by bingo players who go broke and need the 25 chips ( for giving an endorsement) because they need chips.

I’d be hard pressed to let an endorsement get under my skin.

I use Helping hand endorsement sparingly. When a player eliminates a bingo player, which might ultimately put me in the chips then it’s a helping hand!

The “Helping Hand” endorsement was intended to be used if a player had answered a query from a fellow player regarding site rules, other tournament possibilities, even answering queries not related to poker, and generally giving helpful information while playing.
It now seems to be given, as mrzick says, when a player makes a move which helps others on the table.
I have been given helping hand endorsements if I make a bet which eliminates me and the recipient of my over optimistic move is grateful!

That is far from the truth it is Not mostly used when a player knocks out another helping another player on the table. It is used as an Insult when a player beats out another in big pot. I have received many of these Insults myself. This “Endorsement has no need except to Troll another player” Lets get that straight. Blackwidow made the same statement prior.

This should be removed from the menu as it is really a built in Insult in the system.

Most questions are asked and answered either on the forum or in a direct message

Just please remember if I am on your table I do not do it to insult, and besides if you endorse a player and they go out the next hand doesn’t Replay take that away?

Is The “Helping Hand” Endorsement Used To “Troll?”

Yes! This sentiment was first stated by @BlackWidow a while back. Maybe we could add it as a trophy for making a troll try to mock us after losing? Call it gave a Troll a helping hand!

All three Endorsements Pro, Sport & Hand have exactly the same value and mean the same thing essentially anyway IMO.

You already know who gave you the Helping Hand E! It was the player that lost the previous hand to you!

I’d love to receive Bingo Player Endorsements. Maybe make it a competition to see who can receive the most per day, week month etc. I think a lot of people would love to give them out too!

Its funny that some players might feel they are getting trolled by receiving this as a way to mock them, when in fact you are praising them for Terminating a bingo player.

100% agree… Just give players the option to disable ALL Endorsements. I noticed most high stakes ring players never use them anyway. The only time you will receive one is when there is a chip buying muppet at the table, losing their stack to you.

Then praise them w/a Poker Pro

Great idea, id pay extra chips to give and get them lol.

Only time i give a helping hand is when someone does me a favor and knocks out a bingo player.

I don’t see any of my Endorsements until after I’ve left the game usually it’s 1/2 hour or more after the Endorsement is made.

Do you guys always keep the Lobby window open?
