I think we just understand Odds and Probabilities differently.
You’re consistently playing against absolute beginners on a play money site and wondering why it’s not like live poker?
No, it’s a very specific pair, and I’m not talking about making a pair of aces, but someone being dealt aces. This is not orders of magnitude different from having quads by the river. I don’t see a significant difference between being dealt aces and making quads because there isn’t one.
True but the % which you’ve cited is the same for any pair according to the Odds table above.
0.45% is the probability of being dealt any specific pair. 58,627,800 is the number of possible ways you can make any pair with 7 cards. These are very different things and not related to each other at all.
You expect to see several full houses each session right? That’s the fourth rarest hand. Why wouldn’t the third rarest happen around once per session?
Stop torturing yourselves. Quit already.
Then quit. It’s your fault for continuing to play a game that you know is rigged. Just quit already.
The way I’m reading this table shows there are 3,473,184 possible combinations to make a full house and 224,848 possible combinations to make Quads. So Full Houses are 15.45x more likely than Quads appearing even though it’s the 4th rarest hand.
I see a big difference in occurrences between Full Houses and Quads.
Right, I was just pointing out the flaw in your logic that quads have to be rare because they’re the third rarest hand, when the fourth rarest hand is not that rare.
In your last 200 hands, there have been 16 full houses and 0 quads, which is basically exactly in line with what you’d expect.
I’ve always stated in my posts that the Quads which I see were almost every NLHE session. My last 200 hands have most likely been a mixture of NLHE and Omaha H/L since I’ve been playing the monthly Marathon games the last several weeks. And I still saw them during the series.
Right, and it has been demonstrated to you repeatedly, in basically every possible way, that seeing quads almost every session is exactly what you should expect.
If you looked at all the poker live streams, you’d find that someone usually makes quads at some point in most of those too.
Nope.
Someone said they see quads “every day”.
My response is: Prove it. Post the hand numbers!
But it won’t happen.
show the method for returning a card to be dealt. without the lines to input and output i think it should be 3-5 lines of code. Use of hash and keys.
Indeed.
The probability that someone who claims that the deals are not random actually backs it up with some scientific math and not just whimsical anecdotes is … 0%.
Th probability that someone actually presents some scientific math to prove that the deals are in fact random being outright dismissed by the complainers is … 100%.
I have not once seen a complainer actually present any math, and I have not once seen any of the complainers actually accept mathematical evidence to counter their claims.
If someone is so dismissive of math, that is probably why they are losing at poker. It has nothing to do with the deals. But no, these folks couldn’t possibly be making mistakes at the table, it has to be the deals. : P
I know that when I play in my league I don’t win much but I get sucked out a lot less. It’s also easier to bluff because the competition in my league is quite high compared to the low stakes tables that I usually play. The players in my league are more balanced and have sensible fold buttons. People tend to ‘play properly’ there. In the low stakes games (on a play money site!) opponents are loose and chase draws and have difficulty folding. It’s more profitable, but it’s also a lot more volatile and there are lots of suckouts because the vast majority of players are unbalanced and hate folding.
The algorhythm is to randomly order (shuffle) 52 cards and deal from that order. Each hand reshuffles. That’s it. What more do you need to know?
This doesn’t even make sense, we are talking about the cards not the players.
Stop torturing yourselves. Quit already.
I 'm not being tortured, are you being tortured @wildpokerdude???
I think replay’s “employees” want us to go away because they don’t have any “badges” to show us.
these screen shots are from a posts in fairness debate I made. as noted in my post. the last 3 are from same table the same tournament. this is why I fold so much.
I played the other day and folded A,K. if I had shove, both players would’ve called because their suited. both hit straights. 1 hit lower straight and the other hit higher straight

next hand the player who won previous hand gets A,K well what do you know he gets a fullhouse.

would’ve been nice those aces would’ve hit when I had A,K
not at all.
So?
