Would the random card generator source code

want to see the source code for the random card generator.
believe it’s geared toward action not actual reality.
any review of big hands will show an issue.
flushes constantly. even 4 of a kinds all the time.

You don’t need the source code. A friend of ours crunched the numbers (over a few million hands) and here’s the data to prove that Replay’s deals are indeed very very random.

Link.

yes geared towards action

how many times have you seen a 4 of kind here? i see one every day.

In Texas Hold’em, the chance of being dealt four of a kind (quads) is very low, with a probability of approximately 0.02401% or roughly 1 in 4,165. This means you’ll encounter this hand very infrequently.

not clicking on a link. no proof you analyzed real hands. show the function/object/module for the random card generator.

There are currently 771(low amount, it is early) players seated playing approximately 80 (low estimate) hands per hour assuming those numbers stay steady, that is 6,160 hands played in one hour, and 147,840 hands played in 24 hours. By your math that is 35.5+ four of a kinds per day.

Your sample size is too small. The direct observations of a single player, even playing 24/7, is too small.

Btw, napkin_holders link is to another post in this forum, perfectly safe:

It would really help your case if you could post the hand numbers showing hands that you played in that have four of a kind (yours or another players) I know you probably do not have any hand numbers from your past (in the last two months you personally have had 6) But in the future you could save the hand numbers of four of a kinds you were involved in showing at least one for each day you play and post them here.

Cheers!

Even less proof of your anecdotal observation of a tiny sample of hands. Try some science. The science is already done, check the link.

This is the closest you are gonna get:

I don’t think it is, it just seems that way because there are more hands played. People play a lot wider ranges in free poker, so there are more boards being hit.

I’ve seen 5 quads in one tournament, I see several everyday. You are right it is action based to attract new people. A lot of people don’t like boring old poker so they spiced it up to make it exciting. Their arguments are full of fallacy and you will get no where on here. Where money is involved there is corruption.

This is more AI generated rubbish right?

You can’t get dealt quads in Texas Hold’em. You can only make quads on different streets. The odds of making quads by the river is 1 in 594. (1 in 4,165 is the odds for being dealt quads in 5 card draw).
Every other player at the table increases the odds of you seeing quads by roughly the same amount, so you see them roughly every hundred hands if you’re playing 6 handed.

Yeah - people see a lot more flops, and you can’t make quads without having a least a pair on the flop, so very few players here are ever going to fold a hand that ends up making quads. The observed rate is going to be very close to the maximum you’d expect if everyone always makes it to the river.

No, they’re not. The odds of making quads by the river is 1 in 594.

@das32343 @JohnPen

But you are missing his point in his post. HE is seeing Quads not that he doesn’t expect it to occur each day. I’ve asked this before, have you, yourself ever noticed this because I have almost every time I’ve played hold’em for the last 5 years.
