Games Where Players Begin with 50,000 Coins

I enjoy the holdem games where each player receives 50,000 as it seems to make for some very good poker. I have identified 6 games on the Dashboard that have this but I am wondering if there are more. I will list the 6 that I have found and actively play and would appreciate any others that the players reading this know of. Thank you.
1 - 2:30am: Super Blind Starters
2 - 11:30am - Play the High Limits

4 - 5:30pm - Sensational Blinds
5 - 10:00pm - Crazy Blind Starters
6 - 10:30pm - SNG MT High Blind

On the lobby page select “buy-in” and it will show you all available games ranked by buy in

He is not talking about buy-in. He is talking about starting chips.

Starting chips is not an indicator of stack depth. One must divide the starting chips by the big blind to determine stack depth.

50,000 chips with blinds 100/200 is mega deep at 250bb
50.000 chips with blinds 500/1000 is short stack turbo style at only 50bb deep.

These two tournaments will play completely differently. The number of chips is irrelevant. If a player talks about stack depth in terms of chips alone you can mark that player as a fish. Sorry man.

One of the Regional MTT 20K each week has a 50K starting stack as well. My biggest Pots won all come from the final table of those games.

Yup, same here. But it doesn’t mean anything in a tournament. 50k stack with 1k/2k blinds is exactly the same as 500 stack with 10/20 blinds. In a tournament you don’t get paid for your chips. You get paid for how long you last.

Ring game is different. That big pot goes directly to your bankroll at a 1:1 ratio, so big stacks = big pots = big wins (or big losses).

One of those regionals is 50,000 stacks with 500/1000 blinds. Another is just 5,000 stacks with 10/20 blinds. The 5k is actually waaaayyy deeper at 250bb stacks. The 50k is actually a sprint turbo at only 50bb.

At 50bb you are one large pot bad beat away from being ICM. If you want to bluff a river and get called, you can quickly be in stack trouble. At 250bb deep you have all kinds of wiggle room to make speculative calls and risky bluffs, etc. Or you can just be super tight because there is no urgency to win a pot to stay alive. The game is played way differently.

Many times in that 250bb I end up being the shortest stack in the tournament or close to it after 1 or 2 orbits, but I still have 225bb so I don’t care at all. In the 50bb (despite the fact that I have a MOUNTAIN of actual chips), if I take a big loss early and I’m down to 20bb, I’m in trouble.

If you go card dead in a 50bb tournament, it can kill you. If you go card dead in a 250bb game, you barely care.

Thanks to you all for the two new tournaments and to the others explaining about the vagaries of playing with 50,000 and different minimum bets.
