I too have two tickets that I wanted to play Hi/Lo for. I did use one of my three to play Hold’em, but it’s not the same. I surely hope something can be worked out. I have a busy day on Christmas and planned for today’s events. I cannot play the 10:15 p.m. time because that is too late for me. I’ll be asleep. I also don’t even show an event on my tourney page for the 5:15 am time. I’m just really disappointed. I do with you Merry Christmas.
Very Disappointing, after working 2 weeks to win tickets for the big show I can’t find some of the eight tournaments. and two are running at the same time! .
The Christmas marathon tickets won during week 2 of the Christmas marathon, can only be used in one of the Grand Finals Event. The was an error loading the tournaments into the system and 3 of the Omaha Hi-Lo Tournaments (5:15 am EST, 11:15 am EST, and 5:15 PM EST) will likely not be played. The Hold’em Grand Finals at 2:15 PM EST and 8:15 PM EST are available to play as are two grand finals at 11:15 pm EST (an Omaha and a Hold’em). We will have to wait to see how Replay will resolve/ credit players for the lost opportunity. Additionally, since it is Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning in some part of the globe, alot of folks wouldnt have been able to play in some of those time slots anyway so that might pose a challenge figuring out who to compensate.
My recommendation would be to give the affected class an equivalent tournament ticket (or two) for a 20 million chip guaranteed tournament. Ie someone who won finals tickets in Omaha and was unable to use them gets a 100K and/or 250 K ticket to be used in Omaha only.

My suggestion would be to make up for the canceled Omaha H/L finals next (December 31, 2023) or the Sunday after next (January 7, 2024). How else are you going to compensate all the players who are sitting on their final tickets?
With replacement tickets? I think it’s a bad idea, just because of all the effort it will cause.
Wish everyone a happy holiday.
I have 3 final tickets and they expire in 3 hours. I wanted to play a final today but couldn’t find one. What’s going on here, I fought so hard for the tickets. I’m very sad about it.
Same here with me in UK. I couldn’t use my ticket at 5.15am.
However… Merry Christmas to you all.
I signed up for the last, and only Hi/Lo tournament, knowing full well that unless there was a "Christmas Miracle " I wouldn’t be home to play. Which I wasn’t. I kind of feel this is wrong. If they had offered all four, like promised, I could have used my ticket.
Hi, Im afraid I was completely AWOL over the weekend and missed this. Still looking into what happened, but obviously something went south on the Christmas Marathon Omaha Hi/Lo Grand Finals.
I intend to re-run the Omaha HiLo Grand Finals next Saturday, the 30th. I think running them on Sunday will be a bit intrusive on peoples New Year preparations.
All the Final Tickets have been extended by a week and I will update the promo page later today.
Sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Will keep you updated in this thread when I know more.
Rob
Thanks for the info. But it’s a shame that it didn’t work out this time. It was actually the highlight of the year.
On behalf of all who found the Christmas Marathon so enjoyable and friendly, thank you for salvaging the finals and it is much appreciated.
It didn’t work out this time for Omaha Hi Lo players that used their “expiring” final tickets for No Limit
Hold’em.
A solution for future holiday events is to conclude them a few days before the actual holiday.
Then RP staff will still be working and available to attend to any arising problems.
I’m pretty sure they can load the tournaments into the system well in advance and thus easier to QA that it was ready to go on Sunday before everyone leaves town. They do it with other promotions not sure why it wasnt done here. The problem was actually identified fairly early on Saturday in this thread by @PokerBR2020 (post #8) that to me is the disappointing part that noone took that observation seriously or escalated the concern. (Myself included).
For me the sting was soothed quite a bit by finishing 6th in the first Hold’em grand final I played and knowing that I wasn’t going to be able to play in more than 3 since it was Christmas Eve and I had other commitments. I do appreciate @Chasetheriver solution to re run the Omaha finals on SATURDAY, 12/30/23. And @grapevine and @Tiandra should get a bonus for having to deal with all the complaints and doing everything they could.
I played week 2 and saw the finales first time on Thursday on Lobby. My Favorites. And I saw there were no Omaha finales, out of my Favorites not too. It was very early and easy to see there goes something wrong. Not for me, I don’t know what happens in background. But easy to see for the creator of the finales. A look to Lobby would be enough for him to see is all OK or goes something wrong. There is many responsibility on doing this job. Better looking 3x is really all OK instead of looking not to it.
And it was not only yesterday. On one of the 2 last Marathons was the same problem, but fixed in last minute, after start of registration. And problems like this on all Marathons. Not accepted tickets, not working leaderboard on MTT Lobby, 2 finales parallel at same time, on a day of Wintergames 2 years ago no SNGs to find, they started then 5 hours before end of day,… Only one of the 1000 things at Replay. It happens again and again. Better stop this trial and error method. In Germany do a people a job, and after this looks another people is all perfect on it. High Quality, Made In Germany. And a joke to see what goes on at Replay. Please give such important jobs not to one people (who makes so many wrong) alone.
We made something wrong. Sorry. But next time we make it wrong again.

“I played week 2 and saw the finales first time on Thursday on Lobby. My Favorites. And I saw there were no Omaha finales, out of my Favorites not too”
Hi Poki,
Did you report this omission via support as soon as you saw it, or to any of the moderators who might have been able to get this corrected earlier? It would have been most helpful if you had done so, as we rely on our members to assist us when things are not quite right. We try to make sure things work well, but sometimes technical problems arise which affect the lobby and if an eagle eyed player has spotted this it is really up to that player to help us out and report it.
I hope you and all the others with tickets will be able to play on Saturday 30th and enjoy the great atmosphere this promotion has created.
I didn’t report it, sorry. Maybe it had helped. But I didn’t know what has to be, and I couldn’t say there is something wrong on this what I see. Normally comes the finales, I hope I remember right, 12 hours before start to Lobby. The first only. Every 3 hours comes then a new finale to lobby, 12 hours before it starts. Registration starts then 6 hours before start of a finale. On Christmas was there all new. I was confused. I saw then PokerBR2020 posted it on early Saturday to this thread. Normally enough time to fix something.
I guess the Omaha job had the wrong start time programmed. End of day instead of start of day. And the auto adding of the next finales didn’t happen because this.
Next time I look longer to it and send it to you or other Mod. Support needs 48 hours (I got no Christmas VIP).
On Halloween had the Hold’ems start problems, the same problem, and I posted it:
Eagle eyes: I worked at this time on my Christmas picture and had my glasses cleaned for it. All crystal clear. Lol.
Thanks Rob,
Understand and thank you for extending the tickets for everyone. Sadly, I wasted my 2 last tickets at the very late 11:15 tourneys. Too old i guess to concentrate on 2 at that time lol. But you deserve a helping hand, good sport, poker pro & Leadership award my friend !!!
i suspect most of us spend them?
i myself set an alarm 5am xmas morning to play the 5:15 tired and intoxicated
I also spent most of mine on holdem and a time that I had to multi task, so basically wasted them. I will say that I got lucky and won one of the NLHE, so not a complete waste
Hi, so this is my solution…
The four Omaha Hi/Lo Christmas Marathon games will run this Saturday, December 30th at the scheduled times, i.e. 05:15 ET, 11:15 ET, 17:15 ET and 23:15 ET.
I have refunded all the Grand Final Tickets used for the Hold’em games which did run, including the extra ones, so anyone who used up their tickets on Hold’em will be able to play them.
I updated the promotion page to reflect the new games.
They are already in the Lobby and will open for registration on Friday.
Best of luck and thanks for your patience.
That’s amazing! Well done. Thank you so much
