Personally, I believe the format was Fantastic and very Creative. In week two gave us all in top 50 not only 2 but as many chances you can have to get to the finals. Great Promotion, great games with Great Folks in my opinion!!
`The Halloween Marathon was an awesome tournament. Plenty of opportunities for winning tickets, chips, maybe friends, and some really good poker play. Thank you all for organizing it.
I, personally, had a good tournament and my only regret is that I couldn’t play all of my final tickets. It is just too much time demand to cram five finals into a 24 hour period. My only wish (not a complaint) would be to have a little more time to play said finals of these “grand prix tournaments”.
This has been the best time and play since i started here about 7 or 8 yrs ago! The play was top notch aaaand the format was excellent! I hope we cn do this again like maybe Thanksgiving or Christmas ??
Thanks to you Replay for giving me this fun and lucrative time !!
Oops forgot something. Yesterday and today the tourny times seem to be screwed up in my lobby…
It will say starts in 15 minutes but then say for instance start time8:30 ??? Anyone else have this ptoblem?
I agree, great format, awesome play, and tons of fun. Just like you I didn’t have the time to play all my final tickets, I have three left. Keep up the good work replay, thank you.
It was truly a marathon, I only could play in one of the finals. However after winning my ticket still played another one three or four times mainly for the chip’s. But the folks in every game were fantastic, just a Great & True Marathon. Last day just wanted to either win with or loose my other week 2 ticket also @ColbyRoad , sorry but I didn’t see any issues with tourney start times you mentioned.
no problem seems ,y new laptop needed to have a time adjstment lol. I reset it and all is good.
Thanks for responding to my question and gl at the tables!!
I liked this promo not many because the many bingo players there. I saw there a player, years on Replay and only 3K chips on account, Rank > 300K. But he played there on a Week 2 10K buy in MTT. I had him > 1 hour on table, and he was all in on all preflops. The other players folded most time, and on calls he had the luck to win with the worst holecards. On end of the MTT he was on top 10, won > 100K + Final Ticket. Many such players there, the freerolls bring them to the tables.
On week 2 was most time 150 – 220 players on the tables. I’m sure the winner had 3 – 4 hours to play. I played on week 2 most time on morning, sleeping time in USA, not so many players.
Another problem on playing was the many site issues. Freezes, sit out and missed hands because this, button delays until fold in mid of a hand, many hands without seeing a winner,… And not all had this problems at same time. On end of a MTT, many times all this problems on it, I was 17. of 15 paid, bubbled. And no refund. Last 2 days of week 2 I had then no tickets for playing, and I pay not chips for such games. The high pricepool makes it not better.
I played the 8 finales, had there the issues too, and won 0 chips. In moment I think I play there next time not.
I really enjoyed the games, a bit of the all-in nonsense in the first rounds not so much in the second, and none at all in the finals. I played three finals in Omaha and nothing came my way at all, but I still enjoyed the games all the same.
Thankyou replay
Totally agree with you swampy! It is great playing with people you have never seen in your every-day tournaments. Like you I played in two Omaha finals (one having been out for a very liquid Sunday lunch) and did not cash, but was so pleased to see my fellow Mod Jonahh take 10th place in the first one! I also got to know several newbies who had enjoyed playing using their wins in the first round and look forward to seeing them in the future promotions!
Kudos to Replay for organising such an inclusive tournament with games to suit all time zones!
Hi Mostly agree with the posts so far. It was one of the best tournament’s for me, totally enjoyed the format and look forward to it being repeated. Also won well over one million chips. Thank you
I really like the marathons. Each level has a different dynamic and the reward for making the money goes up each round. Throw in the mix of hold em and Omaha High Low (Yes my two favorite games) and you have a winning formula. I won 4 finals tickets and didn’t have the best luck in the finals but made a good prfit in week 2 to ease the sting :). I would like to see an ante added. No ante with a 9 handed table can slow things to a crawl when you approach the bubble, which is my only major complaint.
Understand you’re complaint regarding the bubble. However no ante can be a great blessing for one as well to get in the chips , if on the bubble or even lower. I just believe it gives players a better chance to get there without the ante my friend.
enjoyed this promotion more than any lately. I echo litenin view of playing different players and also a lot of international players. downside was more all in players. cheers to management ,grumble and gripe on bballd.
Translation Yes, nice and all, but: It was practically a pure ALL-in spectacle and then the usual suspects as always because of their incredible poker skills won most of the prizes. It’s a shame how it turned out because the format is actually good. Greetings Andre
