I know you put a lot of time and effort into this, but if you are going to start over by refunding ALL of the Grand Final Tickets wouldn’t it be better to just do a complete redo by adding the four Hold’em games as well. Just call a mulligan and save a lot of may I say bull crap that I see coming.
@Chasetheriver , Thanks & a Great testament of how Great Replay Poker operations and support teams are!
Hi my friend the Hold -um Tourneys were played as scheduled. All winning players received their chips won. Now you and all that won week 2 tickets have an additional opportunity to use all tickets again in the Hi-Lo tourneys, as I see it. I expect a Huge turnout for everyone getting an additional chance to win chips. Yea
Let’s be real here Litenin and say we’re making the best out of a situation that we shouldn’t really be in.
This is not a great moment for Replay poker operations. The support teams, in my view, were put in a
bad spot.
This is a reoccurring nightmare which gives the impression that RP’s mindset is,
" We’ll lock the doors and leave the site on it’s own and we’ll clean up the mess later."
The RP community message boards lately were commenting on caring.
Just care.
That’s all that’s needed.
Yes, we have an additional opportunity to use all the tickets again.
There is a cavernous difference between the impression of not caring and a great testament…
Let’s get the job done right.
Be consistent and care.
Smooth sailing for a while and then you could say how great Replay operations are.
The disappointment lingers and doesn’t go away that quickly.
The mess was adequately cleaned up.
You know, I wish I was perfect, especially at Christmas time when we are all so busy trying hard to please our friends, family and poker community.
My mistake this Christmas was to get the labels mixed up on the Christmas Box to the Vicar and the Dustbinmen. The Vicar got three pairs of sexy Y-fronts, and the Dustbinmen got a book of bible stories.
Fortunately I was quickly able to put this right, though I have a feeling the Vicar was a bit disappointed at having to do a swap!
Can we now close this with the hope that we can all have a great time on the 30th and just enjoy the ride!

I wish I could go back and fix all my mistakes, as smoothly and completely as the brilliant people at Replay have done. Once again, I tip my hat to these wonderful people.
Yes my friend, I understand, and I am NOT complaining, just adding my two cents worth. IMO the best course to take is: “hey we screwed up (because we are human) so we are going to run the complete tournament again.” Personally I don’t care what they do, hey it’s FREE and tons of FUN. GL at the tables and the rest of life my friend!!!
I certainly hope the next holiday tournament is shifted so it concludes a few days before the actual
holiday!
This way the fine folks at Replay can " lock the doors " and simply enjoy the holiday without worry!
Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me.
Make the adjustments and all will be well for everyone involved.
You are correct about putting it to rest but please the high praise is a little over the top at this very
moment in time.
Ignoring the cause of the problem will only make one believe it will happen again next time!
The high praise just emphasizes this worry for the player.
I for one have NO complaints…TY Replay and look forward to playing here in thye New Year and many more to come!
Bah Humbug to you
I agree totally we should not be in this situation my friend. This was a Great & Fun tourney that failed at the worst time of the Grand Finals. However mistakes will be made in life, from all of us.
If you missed @Chasetheriver 's first response, apology made, still looking into what happened and I am sure we will see transparency and answers soon. As we all fail at times, I do think we have a great Replay Team that will correct problems and ensure ways to prevent them in the future. If you don’t agree, that is fine. I am glad we have this forum where we can agree to disagree in a friendly fashion
I took the advice from Grapevine to heart and put it all to rest.
Looking forward to enjoying the Omaha Hi Lo part of the Grand Finals.
It happened, it was upsetting, and hopefully they can learn from this and prevent it from happening again. But when you get knocked down how you respond matters too. I always look forward to playing Omaha with you @Excaliburns and @Litenin and @grapevine and hopefully that will be the best way to put this saga to bed for good is with a good game or two Saturday.
We all want this site to be better and sometimes tough love is needed to help us improve.
The site pretty much exploded 3+ years ago, with so many people looking online for some relief from daily pressures. The Replay site has done an amazing job of changing and adapting to the increase in traffic, and I feel, deserves to be commended on that.
This tournament situation was so well-handled 99 44/100% of the players, in spite of their disappointment, and reflects the camaraderie and ‘good sport’ values that Replay members embrace.
Happy holidays, people! Ho ho ho!
You can register for the Omaha Grand Finals 24 hours ahead of time 05:15 am EST, 11:15 am EST, 5:15pm EST, and 11:15PM EST. There is no late registration. I’m signed up for 11:15am (sorry not waking up at 5am on a weekend) see you at the tables.
