Im very curious to why there are a lot of badbeats in replaypoker, actually every tournament im playing, I should get knocked out by a hand weaker than mine, or my hand failing to improve where as the players im playing with their hands get to improve. Im even doubting whether RNG here is fair.
Here are some of the hands that makes me sad and doubt about replaypoker algorithms
Tbh I dont know, what I know is that lately, the algorithms of replay are strange, I get badbeats every tournament I am playing and I am surprised at these.
You showed a couple of hands from how many? It happens here and cash poker-this is why they call it POKER–best hand from beginning does not always win. I had pockets A’s beat a lot and sucked out and beat them a lot-it happens:).
That’s Royal poker though. TT is basically the worst starting hand in royal - you can basically never win with it unless you make quads, and better quads is not that unlikely. I’m not sure you can ever really have a bad beat in Omaha either.
Why surprised? There’s only really 3 ways your going out of most tournaments. Either you win, you get your money in behind and lose, or you get your money in ahead and lose. If you’re playing fairly tight and passive (which seems to be the case from the hands you posted), getting it in good and losing is how your going to bust out of most tournaments.
In any case, none of the hands you posted would ever come close to winning a bad beat jackpot, which should tell you that they happen all the time, even at real casinos.
None of mine were bad beats. They were all pretty evil coolers. And they were all pretty entertaining once the sting wore off. The Omaha hand is classic flop the nut flush, check raise, both call. Pair the board on the turn from first to last as both villains have boats. I made my bed and whammo Royal on the river woo hoo!!!.
The KK vs AA then quads on the board was funny, but I was never ahead so just a cooler.
The royal one, I did just limp pre flop. Almost any two cards can be good in Royal so if they let you limp do it. Flopped Quads and then hoped someone had an Ace and then be careful what you wish for lol. Runner Runner quads.
Since there are 4,824 distinct 5-card poker hands that are possible from 7 cards, it’s entirely likely (although unlikely), that you could get many good to great (except for the absolute nuts) hands and lose over and over again. You just have to “suck it up” and keep playing as best you can. In the long run if you are playing a sound game, you will win.
It happens cash poker and here. i played a small cash game 2 hours ago and consecutive hands had pocket Q’s and a player (2 different ones) had pocket A’s and i won both by flopping a set:)…guess it was my lucky day as i been on the opposite end many times:).
