What is your favorite game to play on this site?

I don’t know how to start a poll so I figure we can just vote on it. Choices :

Royal
Omaha
Omaha hi/lo
Hold em
7 card Stud

For me its Omaha hi/lo at this point. Regular Hold em is 2nd. Omaha is 3rd. Royal(too many bingo’s) and then 7 Card stud is my least favorite by a large margin.

Maybe a Mod can set this up as a poll to get better feedback. Thanks.

Wasn’t aware that was even a thing in here. But since 7 Card stud is my least favorite, I would not likely play it anyway.

OK. My order would be Omaha Hi/Lo, Hold em’, Omaha, Royal, and 7 Card is last. I don’t care for all the bingos in Royal and I don’t like a game you can’t control when you have to bet (Bring-ins). 7 card Stud I am referring to.

As much as I love to play Hold UM, I would say Omaha Hi-Lo would be preferred first for me.

For me, I played Royal a bit a few years ago, pretty much decided I’d never play it again, not my thing, thought it was awful. I’d rather play something like a new invention… 2 deck poker where you could get a 5 of a kind to beat a royal :upside_down_face:

Rarely play Hold em, detest Royal, but I am happy playing any of the other games, “jack of all trades, master of none” in no particular order of liking.
For people who only play hold em I think they are missing out on some fascinating games. I like the idea that I can sit down at anyone’s game anywhere and have a reasonable understanding of it, even the more obscure games like 7-2 lowball, Razz or Badugi (which is a wonderful gambling game), all learned by playing online :slight_smile:

I’ve only ever played Hold Em but this thread is a great reminder it’s not the only game out there. Learn another? Possibly :slight_smile:
