I started playing poker for fun when I was 12. My dad would have a poker night and he taught me how to play poker while playing with the guys.
I started playing poker about 12 years ago, I used to play yahoo pool then became a volunteer for yahoo. One of my friends introduced me to online poker and really had no clue how to play… I remember one of my first games and it still haunts me to this day because the game got aggressive with everyone was going all in and I didn’t have much chips or knowledge and folded but in the end my friend told me I had a fullhouse and would of won. I now love the game and it really helps when you know our hands lol
Our Dad taught us to play Blackjack for chips as soon as we could count to 21. We also played a stupid game called Pokerkeno with cards, like bingo cards, and we learned what the cards were worth. A deck of cards was used , to draw ,instead of numbers. We learned what hands were worth at a very young age. Later on we moved up to penny ante. It wasn’t until I was a young adult that I played for change with friends and family. Dealers choice…all kinds of poker games.
I love playing video poker in the casinos, but that requires travel and real money. I was thrilled when my niece invited me to play on Replay. I have been hooked ever since!!
I started joining when I was 21 and love the atmosphere. I wish there were more events to stimulate the community!
Hello Replay Poker,
I started playing poker while at University in the UK. There were a group of around 20 players and around 6-9 players at any one time. The table rarely actually closed as there always seemed to be students wanting to play throughout the day. I was lucky enough to fund my second year living expenses through that poker ring and I was hooked for life.
I played socially for many years but that fell away when I was married with a family.
I started playing on Replay Poker a couple of years ago and am really enjoying the vibe.
Thank you for all the effort you guys put in to make the experience so special.
My Pop-pop taught me to play at a very young age. Chess too! :]
I started playing poker at about twelve with a friend whose father was a highly rated bridge player. I learned bridge quickly and enjoyed playing with my friend John, his mother and his father. Once I entered the USN in 1973, I picked up poker again with shipmates from our test-eval squadron in N.A.S. Patuxent River, MD. I turned out to be the best player in the group. We played for cash. A usual night’s take was a hundred bucks. After the Navy, I didn’t play for many years until on-line poker showed up. Been a member of Replay Poker for many moons. It is the best site for play money poker.
45 years young
I remember that my first attempt at playing poker was with my brother who is no longer in this world And although I didn’t know how to play, I did know some terms like a full house or a flush
So what I did was make my little brother believe that I did know how to play poker
Beautiful moments from when we were just children. I was 10 years old at the time. I miss my brother
and I still play poker from that first time
it happens 3 years before
due to replaypoker !
I use it for selfeducation
Not so long here, used to watch games on tv and when I joined Replay that was my first game transitioning from watching to playing. I must have been around 72 back then 76 now .
.
I started at age fifteen. Didn’t really know anything but got lucky at 7 card stud and so — ( I thought I was “good” at it— I really wasn’t). My favorite game now is Omaha Hi-low — ( I am not good at that either ) . After MANY hands/tournaments I am beginning to learn how to play Holdem — thanks to Replay Poker.

I started playing when I was very young. Cards are a pastime I share with my family, but I did not play poker till I was around 20. I still have much to learn at 72 years old. lol !!
I probably started playing when I was 13-14. On a missions trip to Louisiana after hurricane Katrina. Someone brought chips and we played in an old church next to our blow up mattresses. That was the first time I learned what a Royal Flush was. Started playing consistently with a weekly group when I lived in Korea. All the foreign english teachers from my town would meet up once a week for some much needed relief from trying to speak Korean all the time. I rarely won, but loved it. Started using Replay to get better and not lose $10-20 each week. It worked!
My first poker game was played at the age of 18 in US Army Patton Barracks in Heidelberg, Germany - played on army blanket on army cot, players seated on foot lockers. I still play too many hands.
Happy Birthday Replay! I was in my early 20’s - Hope your Birthday wishes come true. Catch you at the tables

I started when I was 82 as a way of keeping my brain active
World Series of Poker was my go-to favorite, especially Daniel Negraneau - I don’t think I started until I joined a fun league in my thirties - but it’s a lot of fun!
I remember sitting on my grandparents lap early in life. Poker among other gambling was always in my blood. I really started on my own at age 18. I play cash poker all the time and play tournaments all over the USA. I now deal 2 tournaments and 1 cash game weekly at my place and a few places around town. Love Texas holdem and play every time I have the chance to. Happy Birthday Replay and thanks for the fun!
I’m 50 years old and I started playing with Replay poker two years ago. I never played before. It’s fun and I like it.
