Good win snowman. To see two players with 3x (or more) wins is nuts. The race is getting tight…here is the 100K club:
RPOS XII #24 (UNL Rebuy)
Winner - TacoBadfish
Winning hand
MTT - RPOS XII #24 (UNL Rebuy) - 18,500 + 1,500 chips - NL Holdem (casino.org)
Congratulations to the winner!
Stud has its detractor(s) in RPOS, but I just enjoyed this little showdown with BuddhaPest, even though I lost. On death’s door 2 or 3 times, almost got back into a money position: Log In · Get into our Poker Games - Replay Poker
And both of those 3 or more win players in the RPOS 12 are from the NORDIC WARRIORS!
He Snow will when Hehaw’s continue to butluck me, Asur.
It was after the UNL rebuy period over. I rebuyed 4 to 6 to 8 to 10 times. Lost 4 flips, Won 1 time.
After the Rebuy period I was semi card dead, semi couldnt get anything going.
Then UTG limps in with blinds 150/300. I have A8 in SB, decide to use my NIT, card dead image to raise to 1200 squeeze. BB UTG low ranked Hehaw, ok, semi good call preflop. Flop A45. I bet 2000, 5/6th pot. Hehaw has about 10% to win with about piss poor bad 1.15 to 1 piss poor bad pot odds to call. Hehaw calls with 33. Ok I might be cbet semi bluffing. Turn A45Q. I bet 2700 into about 7300. Hehaw calls with only about a 4.5% chance to win, with a 2.7 to 1 pot odds, when need 9 to 1 pot odds to call, likely beat by A or Q or 4 or 5, only about a 4% to 7% to 10% chance that I bluffing, with a ultimate tight but NIT image at that part, stage of tourney. Hehaw gets his miracle 2 on river, and out I go.

It’s bad luck like that, that balances out the good luck that have so far. And it’s bad luck like that, that will be the reason that Snow catches me, which wouldnt be a bad thing, and would be a good thing. And take away the 2,3,4,5,6 times as much bad luck, compared to the good luck, and I would have 5,6,7 wins by now. But 4 wins is awesome, so not complaining.

Ty Joe, I almost folded that last hand… then I said, wait, is that a winning mindset??
Yeah I saw that too, guess have to be prepared to play both of either Omaha or NL Hold Em, or maybe its a Mixed half NL Hold Em, half Omaha Game.
That last hand was what dreams are made of, well done young man!
Michael do we need to send someone to do a welfare check? Type 1 if you’re OK, type 2 if they’re inside the house right now
I removed the technical jargon, don’t want to show off, and I am running out of bridesmaid dresses
Booyashakka!
So we are playing NL Holdem with Omaha rules. Guess we use the two cards in our hands and three from the board. lol, that would make an interesting game.
Omaha Hi Lo is the biggest LUCK BOX game out there. In the Omaha Hi Lo, DEEP 300 bb stack, 10,000 start chips. I flop the NUT broadway straight, first hand. I bet POT, everybody calls. Villain bets half pot on turn, still have the best hand, no possible better hand that ahead. I reraise all in 225 bb deep, it’s obvious Villain is beat. Villain has a set. Villain only has about a 23% chance to boat up if call. Villain calls, and of course boats up.
I have 500 chips left. build that back up to 3500. Got Bad beat again for 2nd time. Then build back up to 3500.
Then everybody limps 9 handed, 50/100, I shove AJA8 double suited. Everybody folds except Hehaw Villain that calls with J CRAP, NOTHING, sucks out bad beats me 3rd time and out. Its been nonstop bs bad luck like that in high roller RPOS events, especially in the luck box Omaha Hi Lo games. I have had a 1000 times more bad luck then good luck. Have to remind myself its awesome to have 4 wins I have. but the bad luck has been so bad. It would be different if I was playing bad, getting knocked out because of bad play. If not for the bad luck in the Hi Roll Hi lo deep stack, I would have had about 25k to 30k to 35k and well on my way to a deep run, final table, top 1,2,3,4,5, etc. If not for the insane amount of bad luck, would have 6,7,8 wins by now.
Well hopefully Rain can win one into TOC.
I won maybe 4 hands during the entire HRS Event #9. (I know I only won 2 hands before the first break 56 minutes into the game.) I couldn’t get ANYTHING (almost never saw A2/A3 combos) that had good scoop potential pre-flop. And when I had opportunities to perhaps draw out to something (potentially for a full scoop)…the dreaded No Limit aspect of the game shows up and people are overjamming 5x pot. Could I have gambled? Beats me…but I had to be behind usually with not a high chance to split (because of counterfeits or boards possibly pairing). Like I’ve said to many before, my talents in O8 basically are founded on playing the Fixed Limit version for years, where I can think in terms of big bets behind, and where the possibilities of ensuring that there are still 4 people in the pot is much higher in which quartering profits/breaks even.
POY title defense is barely alive. (I still have a chance!) I will have to ship the Main tomorrow and hope those ahead of me don’t make the top 4-6. Can I pull a Goatsoup at the final hour?
