I am pleased to announce that out twelfth edition of Replay Poker Online Series (RPOS XII) will start next Monday, September 9th.
As usual, there will be three weeks of Satellites with Ticket Hunt Leaderboards and then 10 days of ‘Main events’ split into two tiers, League of Legends and High Roller series.
Tickets won from these satellites will be standard tickets, valid for any tournament of their value and have almost immortal expiry dates.
Following the Main events there is the Tournament of Champions, where all the first place finishers get to play again, with the winner asked to rename* any Replay table or tournament of their choice.
Within reason. Tables or tournaments already renamed by players are not in the hat, plus keep it clean, please.
There is always discussion about how the RPOS is structured and in this thread after RPOS XI, I promised we would review the format.
There will be 3 League of Legends (20,000 buy in) and a single 100,000 buy in High Roller event each day for 10 days, with the final 2 High Roller events being 250,000 buy in.
There will be Guaranteed prizes, chips to be won in Leaderboards and a chance to leave your mark on Replay.
No change there, but
The Main events will all be spaced at least 4 hours apart and the spread will be increased from 8 hours to at least 12.
There will be less rebuy games than last year,
There will be PKO tournaments this year.
Watch out for promotion pages to go live this week.
Do you only receive the achievement “RPOS Champion-Win a RPOS event” from winning the ToC? I finished 2nd in ToC and won an event never receiving an achievement.
I remember @Marklou won the RPOS two consecutive years. So, if 2015 is correct he would’ve won either 2016 or 2014.
I’m pretty sure it would’ve been 2014 since I started in 2013. It was a different format back then, more of a King of the Hill format which was changed in 2019. He was scary good aka unbeatable, IMO.
Yeah, I remember he knocked me out of the running the first year which he later won and when he knocked me out of the running that 2nd year, I remember thinking (Who was this guy?) and that he was …
Hi, I have tried to roll back the mists of time in the admin and also try to recall how RPOS has developed.
Replay first introduced the High Roller Showdown in 2019. There was no specific ‘Tournament of Champions’ prior to that.
As far as I can tell prior to that there was just the League of Legends Leaderboard and no prize of renaming the table.
Those LB are not showing in my admin, but are archived. (Nothing to do with the redirect). When the Techies are not so busy, I will ask if they can be viewed and we might be able to fill in the gaps.
We want RPOS to be easily accessible to everyone. The idea is that someone can win a ticket in a freeroll and parley it up to win heavily, or even the ultimate prize of naming a table.
but,
we already have planned a 1 million chip MTT using the 8 daily 1M MTTs. Possibly rope in the Opal Gemstones too
Romanium numbers.
There are youtube videos on this promo sites too.
But there are so many winners, and i do not know which you search. I hope this helps and wish you much luck to find the winners. I am not RPOS player and didn’t look many to this games.
It would be nice to win the HRS POY again but there ain’t no way I can repeat last year’s performance (2 wins and I think I cashed in 7 out of the 10 events) in which I earned the highest point total and margin of victory in the series’ history. An absolute mad heater that came for me after a terrible month of results prior.
My only goal is to hopefully win 1 of the 40 events (although I can’t play all the League of Legends ones) to get another crack at that coveted TOC title (have gotten 12th and 6th in my 2 previous chances). There’s one tournament dear to me I’d love to rename.
BTW…the swag you get for winning a leaderboard is really nice. (See pics below!) Definitely worth the grind.
