Announcing RPOS XII

Hi,

I am pleased to announce that out twelfth edition of Replay Poker Online Series (RPOS XII) will start next Monday, September 9th.

As usual, there will be three weeks of Satellites with Ticket Hunt Leaderboards and then 10 days of ‘Main events’ split into two tiers, League of Legends and High Roller series.

  • Tickets won from these satellites will be standard tickets, valid for any tournament of their value and have almost immortal expiry dates.

Following the Main events there is the Tournament of Champions, where all the first place finishers get to play again, with the winner asked to rename* any Replay table or tournament of their choice.

  • Within reason. Tables or tournaments already renamed by players are not in the hat, plus keep it clean, please.

There is always discussion about how the RPOS is structured and in this thread after RPOS XI, I promised we would review the format.

  • There will be 3 League of Legends (20,000 buy in) and a single 100,000 buy in High Roller event each day for 10 days, with the final 2 High Roller events being 250,000 buy in.
  • There will be Guaranteed prizes, chips to be won in Leaderboards and a chance to leave your mark on Replay.

No change there, but

  • The Main events will all be spaced at least 4 hours apart and the spread will be increased from 8 hours to at least 12.
  • There will be less rebuy games than last year,
  • There will be PKO tournaments this year.

Watch out for promotion pages to go live this week.

Do you only receive the achievement “RPOS Champion-Win a RPOS event” from winning the ToC? I finished 2nd in ToC and won an event never receiving an achievement.

I like shiny things

If you’re referring to the Achievement Award,

I believe you will or should receive the Achievement Award when and if you qualify for the Final Table. It should show up in the MTT section.

No super high roller series? 100,000 seems low for the high roller portion

It would be cool to post here a complete list of all 11 of the past winners.

All I can find is a partial listing -

Previous winners:

2022 @madmac14: Warp Speed

PP1000 won last year’s TOC but never answered the staff’s messages (on at least 2 occasions) on whether the player wished to name a table/tournament.

Thanks RyRyRobe

@Excaliburns

I remember @Marklou won the RPOS two consecutive years. So, if 2015 is correct he would’ve won either 2016 or 2014.

I’m pretty sure it would’ve been 2014 since I started in 2013. It was a different format back then, more of a King of the Hill format which was changed in 2019. He was scary good aka unbeatable, IMO.

That answers the question if there were any repeat winners. Thanks, smooth99

Yeah, I remember he knocked me out of the running the first year which he later won and when he knocked me out of the running that 2nd year, I remember thinking (Who was this guy?) and that he was …

Still the Same.

Those RPOS memories still haunt you!

Marklou has 1.5B and his Replay resume ranks in the Stratosphere.

I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it!

Calling all old timers!

If anyone can fill in the remaining years, please do so!

Hi, I have tried to roll back the mists of time in the admin and also try to recall how RPOS has developed.

Replay first introduced the High Roller Showdown in 2019. There was no specific ‘Tournament of Champions’ prior to that.

As far as I can tell prior to that there was just the League of Legends Leaderboard and no prize of renaming the table.
Those LB are not showing in my admin, but are archived. (Nothing to do with the redirect). When the Techies are not so busy, I will ask if they can be viewed and we might be able to fill in the gaps.

Hi @Batman1517

No, sorry, not this time around,

We want RPOS to be easily accessible to everyone. The idea is that someone can win a ticket in a freeroll and parley it up to win heavily, or even the ultimate prize of naming a table.

but,

we already have planned a 1 million chip MTT using the 8 daily 1M MTTs. Possibly rope in the Opal Gemstones too

If you want to look back to RPOS VII, you can use this link:

I hope Corg can do it:

If you want to look to RPOS IX, then you have only to change the vii in the link to ix, lol:

There are youtube videos on this promo sites too.
But there are so many winners, and i do not know which you search. I hope this helps and wish you much luck to find the winners. I am not RPOS player and didn’t look many to this games.

Certainly agree!

I’d rather have Replay running at its best for RPOS XII and filling in the gaps later.

I’m sure the techies are working diligently and prioritizing to reach that goal.

Honestly, I did hesitate to board that aircraft towing a banner that read “RPOS XII”

Knowing that there’s likely storms in its path this year.

Searching for previous winners, it was noticeable that there were always issues

that were dealt with along the way.

With that perspective, what we’re dealing with now seems lessened to some degree.

Currently, the incentive to stop Younguru, the greatest player to come along in a while,

is too great.

So, I board the aircraft knowing it’s headed right into a line of storms.

Like a disaster movie from the 1970’s or is it more like a James Bond scene?

In any event, we’re here for some entertainment as well as poker.

Replay delivers!

This year’s schedule is live in the Dashboard:

https://www.casino.org/replaypoker/promotions/rpos-xii-overview

Although the High Roller side of things has not increased in stake, the Guarantees are above 100 million between the 10 events.

Bets of luck to everyone,

Rob

It would be nice to win the HRS POY again but there ain’t no way I can repeat last year’s performance (2 wins and I think I cashed in 7 out of the 10 events) in which I earned the highest point total and margin of victory in the series’ history. An absolute mad heater that came for me after a terrible month of results prior.

My only goal is to hopefully win 1 of the 40 events (although I can’t play all the League of Legends ones) to get another crack at that coveted TOC title (have gotten 12th and 6th in my 2 previous chances). There’s one tournament dear to me I’d love to rename.

BTW…the swag you get for winning a leaderboard is really nice. (See pics below!) Definitely worth the grind.
