Replay…don’t do us dirty and have Guru, Pos, Asure, and Me all on the same initial table of the TOC.
seconded… like, please no lol.
wow, can’t believe I actually have an outside shot at POY now despite my dismal results so far. I guess that’s what winning a 102 person tournament will do.
up 20 leaderboard spots!!
Also to mention the decent near 2.2 million payday for a 100K.
@RyRyRobe the fact that I’m still barely over 100k LB points really puts into perspective how wild 235k is
Yeah…last year I cashed 7 of 10 times in the HRS with 2 wins, 2 3rds, and 2 10ths. Getting 1st and 3rd in the final 2 events (both with a higher point gain due to a higher buy-in: 250K) helped. But I had locked up POY after Event 9 as the only person that could catch me had to win the Main and I had to finish below 50 in it. I did all the math to know before the tourney started to know the permutations. After I got beyond that, I played freely and played well to get 3rd to overkill it.
A 23,500 points/tourney average is nuts cuz that’s like a 5th or 6th place finish in every event. As I said before…was very blessed last year during the festival. I had been getting top 7 every year in the HRS leaderboard but I was very determined to go for it all last year (go for wins) and KO the Goat and his 3-year reign.

This song is for you!
Congratulations finishing on the “high notes”.
BTW, this song will work for you at the end of the TOC as well.
Very kind and thoughtful of you to make these recaps, Joe <3 always appreciate your support and wisdom
I am truly amazed how fast a few suggestions from Asuronetorius brought Younguru to victory.
Very kind and thoughtful of you to make these recaps, Joe <3 always appreciate your support and wisdom.
Kind words!
Thank you!
Just glad the Nordic Warriors will be well represented at this year’s TOC.
Nordic Warriors have been DOMINATING the RPOS 12, both in wins, and in top 2,3,4’s, final tables, league of legend top 10, 15, 20, etc. And the reason for that is the tough Nordic Warrior competition makes us Nordic Warriors improved, even better. After such a strong showing by the Nordic Warriors at the RPOS 12, hopefully that convinces even more top players like POS111, RyRyRobe, others to join the Nordic Warriors also.
I am incredibly proud of the Warriors, I started a league to play the best, the proof is right here, two more Warriors in the final 3 at the table right now in #21 gl Norris and Evan!!
Norris @_snowman wins his second RPOS
Congratulations Norris!!

Congratulations Luke on your win today!
3 warriors won RPOS events today, rock on!
It was only a matter of time, I had full confidence in you being able to get to the TOC
Well done young man!
After well timed tactical folds by both players waiting for their moment,
it was LuckyDONK who prevailed after about a 2:30 marathon.

After the battle, Excaliburns passed the torch this afternoon.
Continue to represent the Nordic Warriors well Asuronetorius!
Congratulations on breaking the “modern day” record!
WOW
How do you like them apples!
@Asuronetorius When they look back in years to come you will be talked about!
Thanks Excaliburn’s. It’s been a journey from being a Omaha Hi Low Donk comparatively speaking compared to Nordic Warrior Omaha High Low players. Also I got lucky in 2, 3 hands, 1 of which was the final hand you posted, which semi bad beated the other player out in 2nd. I’m shocked the 4th win came by Omaha Hi Low, instead of NL Hold Em.
I’m wondering if I should gun for a 5th, 6th win? Probably if I want to try to be #1 on the leaderboard and win the swag prize. But I also want to give very good players like Rain, etc, a chance to win their way into the RPOS TOC, so maybe I should only play for 1 more win, and play for 2nd place finishes, instead of wins, so that players like Rain, who should be in RPOS TOC, who is a deserving player worthy of RPOS TOC, gets into RPOS TOC.
Do not for any reason stop your journey @Asuronetorius, you are not an obstacle for me, only lady luck is in my way.
I’d advise you to step back and get a clearer picture.
If you do what you say, and Rain gets in, then he may beat you head-to-head for the TOC title.
Then you’ll look back and ask yourself, “What was I thinking?”
You certainly have NOW an opportunity to pad YOUR RECORD.
Every participant in RPOS XII wishes to be in your position.
Every one of them would be gunning for more tournament championships.
Remember, this opportunity doesn’t come around very often.
You would be upholding the integrity of RPOS.
The decision is clear!
Aim high my friend!
Squeaked into the money (20th place…top 20 get paid) on a freeroll using my 100K Streak Ticket. The four people ahead of me in the POY race all finished behind me, but 20th isn’t going to make up much ground. (I may move up from 5th to 4th unless someone close behind scores a big finish.) Still…it keeps me in contention if I can get a massive result (say, top 3) in one of the final 2 250K tourneys. (I won the NLO8 250K last year and have gotten 2nd and 3rd in the 250K Main twice before.)
History to remember: Goatsoup did steal a POY on the final event one year from -BlackWidow- by winning the HRS Main Event.
As dangerous as a Catagory 4 Hurricane, Snowman whirls
away the competition to capture win #3
Plenty of time for more fireworks!
