Player with High Stakes shouldn't be allowed to play in Low Stakes Tables

I find that hard to believe. Seriously?

Seems that way to me. I can’t remember the last time I had Ace+face. I’ll keep a record next time I play.

I frequently come across top 3000 players in Freerolls and barely see them playing tourneys with a buy in or higher stakes tables and I’m just curious as to why. No judgement. Just wondering what the motivation is. I can play an hour and only make 1000 chips and to me that just seems pointless.

If you are one of these players, please tell me your motivation. Again just curious

exactly sometimes thats all there to play and most of us dont bully of course there is always some that do but they also do that in high stakes thats how they play.

Most times you just want to play poker with friends at lower stakes, sometimes you don’t want to overthink at high tables. Mixing it up is good.

I will play freerolls sometimes particularly for non Hold em games. Best way to learn and get experience with a new game is to play it (7 card Stud or stud hilo). That and the freeroll Omaha HiLo games are non stop action and a roller coaster which makes them alot of fun. True the payouts are small but winning chips really isn’t a big priority of mine and I didnt risk any chips either.

Freerolls are the the hardest to win cuz ya got a whole bunch of players…that’s why I play them. lotta fun, prize pools stink, but most of the players could care less bout the chips…as they are worth nothing…

You got a whole bunch of bingo players because it’s free.

Just because someone has high stakes next to their name, doesn’t mean they are a high stake player. It is just chip count. You will get high stakes next to your name when you win chips over time. I play low stakes for the fun of it. I play on the site for the fun of it, it is not about the amount of chips you have, since they are play chips anyway. It is playing to play and practice for when you do want to go to a place and play with real money. Win chips over time, even playing low stakes and you too will get that high stakes label. Also those who have been high stakes, if they lose lots of chips, their label will go down to. The label is with the the chips, not the tables you play. Have fun and relax.

FREEROLLS has some fun & friendly players in them.

I personally try to only play low buy in MTT/SnG when I rarely play them bc the site is frequently so laggy, and torturous to play on.

I play low stakes ring if I’m bored.

I think a lot of players with low ranks, & millions of chips play low stakes where they only win a little bc its where they feel comfortable and happy.

The same as many players put all their chips on the table and lose them all every time they play on the site. Players just do what they want to do.

The chips are all worthless so its not like “we” are playing to win a big retirement fund…

WHAT ??? The chips are all worthless ??? NOW you tell me !!!
I like the Freerolls because I have a lot of cheap friends that play on them.

As many posts and threads complain about this , no one is going to change their style of play.

“ it is what it is “

I like the multi player tourny. I think that is what poker is about.

All money is pretty much worthless. Money can’t buy love or happiness and you cant take it with you!

I’m cheap - especially in MTT/SnG - but I try not to be easy.

Cheap friends are some of the most fun & generous! I have played many FREEROLLS to the final table with some great players! They are generous to chat and add extra value for me. It even makes losing more enjoyable!

as I started this “suggestion” please allow me to close it with this my last comment.
most of the games are based on “levels”.
I understood Replay has 3 levels.
Beginners w 2500 - 80.000 are low, 80k - 200k medium, 200k above are high ranked.
all players - any game - start at the lowest level and try to reach the next one.
if they not succeed, they must restart at the previous level.
it is never allowed them to restart at the level1 if they are higher.
this is the philosopy of all games, not only poker, depending on the aims of the players, who play to reach the next level.
I guess you play a lot of other games and you understand what i am talking about.

Replay allows high leveled players to play with low rated ones and kill them.
This is not good and should not be allowed.

This is also not good for the system as it needs money. If high rated players vs others they lose a lot of money and must rebuy.

My advice is, let low rated ones play vs other low rated players till they reach the medium level. Best of the medium rated players may advance to high rated. They should never be allowed to play with level-1 or -2 players. Else, it has no sense to show the ranking of the players.
All developers of games do it, it is not allowed.

I will not comment on this any more.
I hope the system administrator reads it and understands what I mean.

By your logic, only beginners should be able to play the lowest stakes for real money. That’s just obtuse.

That’s not true. A player either has the high hand for the win or they don’t. Your not even factoring luck. I have 1.2 billion chips and I play poker with my friends at low stakes and get beat often.

He doesn’t grasp, or doesn’t want to acknowledge, that ranking has no bearing on how much you can sit down at a table with. He doesn’t let the facts get in the way of his opinions.
