People that do the most complaining seem to be newbies who join and then immediately want things like banning all ins, disallow higher stakes players from playing at lower stakes, and complain that Replay is rigged, etc. Instead of complaining they should learn to play poker, but it’s easier for them to complain than take the time to learn the game.<<
Seems to me that this applies to a lot of life in general.
True, it really does. But in this case, we’re talking about poker.

I buy chips. I play freerolls because I HAVE TO BUY chips because I am very novice. I have literally no poker skills, but try learning as I go. For me, at my age (68) I will never attain professional poker status nor do I care to. I enjoy some of the players on the freerolls and lower stakes because that is my skill level. After all is said and done, mostly I play any game just to have the fun to play and kibitz. This is a fun site and I enjoy most players on here.

That’s the best point right there. Table limits dictate how big the starting stacks are, NOT the player’s overall chip count.

When i started here in Replay i thought it was fun to play against high ranked players,you learned alot and you pic up things from them! I remember the first time i beat this gentlman who had a very big rank,made my day!! I think play your game and learn from the others but you also need to adapt your game,take notes!! A good thing to be a better player is to join a team,play in a league,you play against the same players all the time and you learn how too adapt and take notes how players play,will make you a better player and its very fun!! See the chans to play against high ranked players a chans to be better,sett goels for the day!! I learn evry day,its why i love this beautiful game!!

IN a game with no rules I think people that have strong opinions should let players play how they like. I have many chips and play low stakes because I don’t have to give my complete attention to every hand. My choice.

I am not someone who usually gets involved in discussions like this, but I was a little upset about people saying that people are complaining about things that they have experienced on this website. I am not complaining with what I am about to say, but I am stating things that have happened to me. In life, I have struggled just to be able to survive in life. I could go into detail, but I would take up a lot of space. What I can tell those who are upset with people complaining about things not being fair on this site has never had the days I have had over the past two days. Yesterday, and I am sure that the moderators could confirm that people sucked out on the turn and river against me between 25 and 50 times. I only won 5 hands and one of my daily missions was to win 35 hands, and I played for probably 4 to 7 hours yesterday. I made bets on the flop and the turn when possible, however, almost all the time someone probably got their straightened, flush, full house or something else. I guarantee you that if any one else has a day like I did yesterday, they would be angry and complain. Today it took me almost 7 hours to win 8 hands with suited cards dealt to me. So, anyone who wants to say that people are complaining that things are unfair when they play, maybe you should experience what I did over the past few days, or know what it is like to have life kick you all over the place in the world. I can tell you all that life has knocked me down more than there are stars in the sky. There are a small percentage of people in this world that would still be alive and not in jail if they felt all my pain. So the next time you want to attack people that are complaining, maybe you should get to know a little more about them before you criticize them. For the last six years I have been more positive about things in life and know that it is a gift. For 46 years of my life I was realistic and pessimistic. I was called grampa by my friends when I was 17 years old. I was a grumpy old man for 46 years of my life. I have slept on the streets of three different cities and I now have my own apartment. No matter what life throws at me now, I try to find the silver lining like a former coworker of mine or I try to put a positive spin on things or reframe the situation. So, as I mentioned before, I am not complaining, but sometimes it seems like everyone else gets their cards or whatever they want in life. This is all I am saying. One last thing, if you decide you want to criticize my comments, you are welcome to do so, but you better either be homeless or have had more difficulties in life than I have. When I was homeless, none of my friends or my family helped me out. This is just the tip of the iceberg for me. You are going to have to have one heck of a story. I have a minimum of 4 strikes in my life with regards to God. I can add probably add 500 to 1,000 more. Anyway, I hope that I have shed a little light on the subject. Good Luck with any rebuttal, with regards to me and my life, I guarantee that you all have had better luck in life than I ever will.

Peterpan my tip…take a deep breath. You’ve been playing for so long and don’t even have the slightest understanding of the system. why ´re u always so pessimistic? Maybe even thought about playing better with marbles? Ur sentences sound like a child whose toy was taken away. Stay healthy…just smile ^^

I seem to play for hours without ever seeing two face cards together. My favourite is A5o quite regularly or 2uo.
