Odd stuff. Hand 86 off suited from UTG 9 MAX Ring Game

250.000/500.000 Ring game
9 max, full table.

I decided to waste 1 or 2 milion (or go broke with a good monster hand preflop maybe??) on this ring table in replay and with great surprise TOP replay player, the number 1, was sitting there. Well nice, maybe I can learn something watching high rank players moves.

And then happens this:

FROM UTG+1, top player decides to limp (odd? yes it is, but ok, it’s replay…can be at these blinds)

Well, look the showdown. 86 off suited limped and flopped straight right away. Now… You all can tell me things I already know “Broh, it’s replay, fake money anyone play as it likes” Sure thing! But here, we are talking about a player who, even with fake money, has to reach the highest position in the site. Iin 2 years (check it out, 2022 the subscription). It means, that you have to know how to play to ladder the rank. We are not talking about the way someone wants to play in replay, we are talking like “how can a player with such moves can become a profitable player in the long run?” Do we wanna solver 86 off suited, for real? lol

and ohhh… remember, flopped straight!

P.S. My curiosity is to know what players, what good players, can agree with me on this. I would take note then, on who knows the ABC of poker.

Lol, I was watching this game when it happened!

DARLINGGIRL loves mid/low connectors and gappers. She has a robust limping range from all positions. Her game seems to be heavily based on postflop exploits rather than “sound” preflop ranges. She is excellent at hand reading and understands what players will show up with in different spots.

I think she can get away with plays like this as a result of the above factors. I would file this under “don’t try this at home”

Ok my friend, I trust you. A thing she can do just on replay I suppose

Lol

I played like this at 2/5 sometimes once I felt I was ahead of the dynamic at a given table and ready to start running people over. Was winning 9bb/hr for a pretty big sample so I can report that it works IRL too
