HTML5 Table Feedback

I’d be happy if someone could figure out why my chat is invisable. I tried raising table up but if i click it to stay there it just goes to full size table and then i can see it fine, but i hate playing on a full size table (football field) lol

The above screen shot is OFC two tables on one screen. Its hardly better with one table full screen though. If fact the text chat box is actually worse with only 4ish lines of text making it hard to follow & read chat box on one full screen table.

Im ok with the text & card text size. That said the avatar & player bar (name & stack size) are sitting way inside the table border. That is one of the biggest differences between old & new tables I can see.

I’ll keep making comparisons to the old tables. I think the biggest problem is the avatar & player bar (name & stack size) take up way too much room & make the whole table feel overcrowded. Its better that the avatar pic is visible on the new tables yes. Makes it more personalised & fun.

The old tables contained player names & stack size all in one gold player oval. This wasted less space - actually it wasted none. They were located on the edge of the table much like a real table etc.

If the new tables avatar & player bar can take up less room & sit on the edge of the table as normal then you get more room on the actual table. Room to increase text size & room for chips to be bet without being hidden by community cards.

Now that people sitting out go grey, we don’t really need something flashing saying they are sitting out. In a game earlier, I was at a table for over 30 minutes with someone who was sitting out, but rather than flashing, it kept showing “sitting out” over the chip stack, making it very difficult to figure out how many chips the player had left. Every once in awhile it would flash and go blank, then it would go back to the sitting out text written on top of the chip stack.

Its deff very broken, a little annoying & unnecessary. Yes the “sitting out” is pointless. I hope they eventually get rid of it as many have suggested, its unnecessary.

PLEASE fix the problem where if you run out of time but are not out of the hand because nobody has bet into you (e.g., preflop from the BB in a limped pot) that it keeps trying to sit you out for the rest of the hand and the next one. Since this often makes you first to act, it’s almost impossible to play the rest of the hand, and often makes it likely that you are forced to sit out the next as well because it waits until after the hand is complete before giving the opportunity to sit back in. It’s a pretty sick feeling… still being in a hand, flopping a str8, and not being able to call a bet (let alone raise) before the system folds your hand.

Ideally, it should immediately give the opportunity to sit back in without waiting until the end of the hand. I know others have asked for this before as well. Or at the very least if you take any action in the rest of the hand (clicking any checkbox, or if you can somehow manage to make a bet, or even fold) it should recognize that you are not actually sat out and stop trying to sit you out after that.

Hell, even if you want to be a stickler and say my hand should be dead, then just kill my hand and let me sit back in. Don’t give the illusion of being in it but then crippling my ability to play the hand.

Please at least recognize that you agree this is a problem and will someday work on it, since we never got any idea what your response was from our feedback under the old submission system.

On a related note, please fix the timer synchronization as well. I’m really tired of clicking an action button while there is still time on the timer-bar, but still getting sat out.

why do I see sometimes (2 cards on flop), 4 cards on flop, 6 and 7 community cards. fast sit-out folds. No longer enjoyable playing. will go to WSOP, i guess

@Dorkupine

I agree this kind of experience can be very strange & tilting. I’ve had the same thing happen where I had the timer bar continuously run out on every street & check, check, check with no option to bet at all…

I was so tilted by the river I was trying to ship it on the river for a flopped value hand as the aggressor.

As a side note I have altered my play to a much more limited range to compensate, almost nit like, in a hope that I’m less likely to get struck out by the connectivity bug.

If this issue can’t be currently fixed then maybe the system can be altered to compensate these connectivity/lag issues. A band-aid is better than tilt inducing bleeding.

Nothing I hate more than very slow players, time wasters but I’d happily put up with “wasted time” if it gave everyone a better chance to actually play their hands.

Related to both your posts, a connectivity bar in the corner might be useful to get an idea & maybe warning. This is used commonly in online gaming.

Again if a solution or fix can’t be found, then a workaround to make lag/connectivity issues less torturous & unbearable please!!!

These are both related to performance issues, which I’m so sorry some of you are continuing to face. The things you mention in particular have to do with browsers getting out of sync with the hand. I wish I had more information I could share on this, but I can tell you that we’re still trying to find more ways to improve our players’ experience. Things have been getting much better overall, but I know that doesn’t help much when you’re one of the people still facing problems.

A temporary solution is to refresh the table when you begin to see issues. If small problems begin, it can continue to lag behind and cause worse problems. I also recommend writing to us at support@replaypoker.com so we can see whether there’s anything we can suggest on your end of things, or at least gather some information about your computer to share with our team to see if we notice any commonalities.

When things start misfiring it seems to be to several players or more at a time. I know I don’t speak up right away when things go glitchy. Just hope it finds another place to unwind.

In the Ring games people have to learn to ‘Stand’ when they want to leave a game and then hit the ‘Leave’ button to actually quit the game. Watched one person ‘Sitting Out’ for hours and could not understand why until someone clued me in. I thought, Oh damn, that means the same thing happened to me when I clicked out of the game yesterday thinking it would shut down my spot automatically. Not!

Sometimes it lets people stay in sitting out forever, but most of the time it will time you out and stand you up after about 5 minutes like it always did. Maybe there’s some logic behind when it happens, but it seems kinda random.

Regardless, standing up to allow someone else onto the table when you sit out is still good etiquette.

Obviously you know the system better than I do, but are you sure the sitting out on a checked hand is performance related? Because i’m pretty sure it happens EVERY time (sorry everyone, i tend to get distracted and run out a lot of the clock so it happens to me a lot). I have very few of the other performance issues that many seem to have so i’m surprised this one thing would be performance related.

The animations for cards and chip-movements seem very jumpy this morning playing the asteroid belt tournament (ID #3690243).

Also when the “Congratulations, you finished…” graphic came up, the entire table stayed grayed out and it would not let me hit the OK button to clear the graphic. I had to just close the whole window. Not that there was anything else for me to do, but it just seemed to be behaving improperly, so i thought i’d pass it along.

Please fix the all in glitch.
If i call a player who shoves all in after the river i shouldnt have to show my cardsif i lose
even worse, if he loses, he doesnt have to show
the player that goes all in should have to show, it is causing us who actually take notes a lot of stress

This has been happening to me a lot today. The announcement will not close and you can’t continue chatting. I feel rude leaving without saying good game and often want to say goodbye or good luck to any friends left at the table. Now I have to close the table and reopen it from the lobby to say anything. It is really annoying.

It’s the same with the colours, every table i have reset. I’m colour blind so like the new colours better than red / black. thanks in advance.

Thanks! This is on the list to be fixed.

We just released a fix for this one.

The winner should have to show??? Why?

I might be wrong - but, I think this is still broken. The problem was that despite who bet or raised last - the hands were revealed by position. What I’ve seen the past few days is - the opposite is happening - hands are revealed counter-clockwise, even if the player in earliest position bet or raised last. Not certain - perhaps someone else can confirm this.

Thanks for the feedback fizzy.
