It has become more and more apparent over the last few months that the high rated players (rankings between 450,000 and 550,000 who have been on the site for many years) now appear to be getting all the appropriate cards to keep winning the hands and in some cases winning a tournament even though they could not be rated as good players if they only have a minimum amount of chips after years of playing
I know I am not the only player to have noticed this and if it was only occasionally it would not be an issue but it seems to be happening on a very regular basis which to say the least seems a bit suspicious
My thoughts are the opposite. Those low-ranked players (and you mean low, not high) are just chip donors. They don’t win much and when they do they lose it all quicker than they win it.
There are certainly regulars at my tables that are always low-ranked. They are 555,000 one day, then 38,000 the next (one decent cash at 20k will do that) and then back down to 575,000 the next. They are ankle-biters, chip donors. The site is not slanted their way at all.
I’ve noticed some streaky patterns too, but I think variance can play tricks on us, especially when we’re already frustrated or on a losing streak. Still, it wouldn’t hurt if Replay clarified how their RNG works or addressed concerns like this more openly. Transparency would probably ease a lot of minds.
