Getting the Money in

I think that I did pretty well here. ; )

Thoughts?

what were the opponents thinking ? getting a Full House, Quad, Straight Flush…look to the chat…

they guy chatting wasn’t ion the hand, he had folded pre, and he gratz’d me afterwards. ; )

UtG, I can understand him being committed to the pot when flopping 2-pair, and in fairness, he technically came overtop of me (small) on the flop and then large on the turn, so he tried. It was the BT that kept min re-raising every time that UtG tried to close that screwed him up. He should have jammed it on one of those rounds to stop the BT.

The BT, iunno WHAT the hell he was trying to do with bottom-pair-meh-kick on all those streets. I have notes on him now. : P

why playing in so low stakes bro?

Because I’m not good enough for high stakes yet.

bro you can’t told this youre better than 95% of replay

To be honest i hate this kind of min raise thats not useful just do a normal x4 raise and they can reraise anyway.
Turn : (dont hesitate to jam here)
Really i dont understand your play, if they want to reraise they would reraise any sizing

Because after that first round of bets I knew that it was going to keep going round and round and the only way to screw it up would be to bet big and accidentally make someone fold. Notice that MY re-raises weren’t min (my flop and turn leads were to make them come overtop).

Slight correction, your good enough to play at higher, mid to high stakes, but your bankroll is probably not good enough to have proper bankroll management to play at higher stakes correctly.

to be honest i dont think that would make someone fold but not sure

he has 2M bankroll he can play at least at 50/100 blinds

No, I’m not there yet. In ring games I can consistently be up at 10/20 but struggle at 25/50. In MTTs I own frerolls, and consistently cash 2.5k and 7.5k. At 20k it’s still tough, although I just had my biggest cash today in a 20k PKO, finishing 3rd with bounties I netted 290k. : D But that was tough.

bro thats variance, even in 1 entire year if you dont do like 100 000 hand you can have losing money even if you deserved winning. (nobody do 100k hand per year in replay because we have to do enough volume in real cash)

This. Yeah Napkin, your struggles are likely short term variance. The question is Do You Usually Make Right Decisions? If the answer is yes, then the results don’t matter as much as long as you have good bankroll management.

I have seen your play, your posted hands, your strategy post, etc. Usually you do play right, make right decisions, and your good enough to play at the 20k, 50k buy in tournament levels.

Trust me. I started with 20k, didn’t buy chips, and in the 4,5 months that I have been at this site, I have played at each level from 500 buy in, 2.5k, 7.5k, 20k, 50k 100k, 250k, 500k, 1 mil, and have 30 mil in my bankroll. I have made the weekly, monthly MTT leaderboards at the small, mid, high stake levels.

And I have had 23, 27, 30, 33, 37, 40, 43 MTT buy in lost, not cashed, bad beat out bad runs in a row, or if not in row, then a bad run period. I usually cash about 27% to 30% of time, and make final table about 14% to 16% of time, and win tournaments about 7.5% of time. And have about a 50% ROI, EV, over the long term.

So there is a LOT of VARIANCE.

Also it’s supposed to be tough. The tough aspects should help raise your game. When I play the 500k, 1 mil buy ins, it’s tough for me, but I am still have the same success numbers, and bad runs, etc, at the 500k level, as at 50k, 100k, 250k level

Trust me, your ready for the 20k, 50k, 100k MTT buy in levels. 100k is 20 buy ins out of your bankroll, and is a semi occasional, semi regular, semi take a occasional shot buy in level for you.

You don’t need to play Freerolls or 2.5k, 7.5k, 10k levels anymore unless its extreme good value(like a 750k prize pool)

You want to play the 20k buy in 2.5 mil GTD, 50k buy in 3 mil GTD, 100k buy in 3 mil GTD to 5 mil prize pool. And as soon as your bankroll is big enough bankroll management wise(27 to 30 buy ins), to play the 250k buy in level, then you want to play the 250k buy in, 10 mil GTD.

So you want to play the extremely good value, prize pool, MTT’s.

Trust me, Dudamoti, Younguru, others, on, about this, that you are ready for higher, 20k, 50k, 100k MTT buy in levels, Napkin.
