Chat is unsupported on mobile devices at this time, which is why you don’t see any area for it there. I will provide an update when this changes. Depending on the resolution of your mobile device, portrait mode may display our desktop version, which does have a chat box.
Not sure where this belongs but here goes: I went to join a ring game when someone was supposedly leaving the table (this was in the chat that he was leaving). He did go to gray the next hand but the seat remained occupied. I waited for quite a while but it kept the seat unavailable with the “sitting out” player. Since there were no other ring games of that blind size open, I eventually gave up and went to play on another site. Is there a way to address this type of thing? I looked at a few ring games tonight and see many are full in the lobby but actually playing short handed because 1 or more players aren’t really there.
We’ve been working on a fix for this – what we call “ghost players.” One of our devs just made some promising progress yesterday and I hope to be back with good news soon!
Fixes have gone in for the rebuy bug and “ghost player” issues that were highlighted in this thread. Thank you so much for your patience!
Table and website goes completely blank whilst in game. What am I supposed to do with this? It has happened many times and I am now unable to play with any certainty that I can finish a game. I have just been blanked while playing in a tournament. This costs me chips and advantage if I am in a strong position. Refreshing page makes no difference. Replay Poker is a thing of the past.
I can’t change my profile picture. I know how to do it, but when I click “change” I get that little rotating circle arrow thingie, but it never opens the picture changing thing.
Hi,
I have found two small bugs:
#1 There’s a bug where if you manually enter a bet amount that’s invalid, and the bet
button gets disabled, it doesn’t get re-enabled by selecting the 1/2 pot
, pot
or ‘all in’ buttons. (The bet value gets updated, but the button remains disabled). You have to re-enter a valid amount or adjust the slider.
It can be a problem sometimes on lightning tables where you only have just enough time to manually enter a bet size in the first place.
I’d prefer to have 1/3 and 3/4 size buttons over fixing this though, if I can make requests here too.
#2 The size of graphical elements on the tables is inconsistent (on Safari at least). Normally if I expand the window, things stay at the initial sizes, but if I squish the window back down and expand it, things pop to a larger size at some point. I see a few people have mentioned similar issues to this already, and this is a very minor issue for me. I’m mostly posting because you can very easily reproduce the sizing issues but just continually resizing the table window. You will see things resize in ways that don’t always make much sense.
I also have some performance issues. It actually runs nicely under Safari, but I do get the annoying warnings about the page using significant energy, and it does seem to be using 30-40% CPU a lot of the time.
Chrome is worse. It has about the same CPU usage, but is running at below 10fps. I don’t get the annoying Safari energy warning banner, but the animations are far too distracting for me at that frame rate that I can’t play on Chrome for long.
Cheers
In 7 card stud, players can fold their bring-in if they tap the pre-select option before their hand is dealt. Folding low cards beforehand under that scenario is advantageous for those who exploit it.
It’s comical seeing an ace bring it in when it’s a full table.
Thanks for reporting this! We were able to reproduce the bug and will have a fix in soon.
I don’t have many issues at this point since the new HTML format has been around for a year, but occasionally I get two cards and then a third card comes slightly off the second card and I’m unsure which one counts as my actual card so I just fold it so that’s slightly annoying. It only happens occasionally (maybe once out of 500-1000 hands.)
I’ve already made screen capture video, made prints, sent it to support (where I’m always well assisted with speed and cordiality). I have reported “crashes”, “bugs” during matches, I’ve lost several hands because the system goes down. According to REPLAY analysts, the problem is with my connection. I don’t believe it because yesterday during a tournament, several players reported problems. I suggested to support, Kristine, that she consult with the players to see if there’s any bugs, especially when a lot of people are connected.
I believe that Replay Poker uses Amazon Web Services for their server needs.
It is possible that RP have not paid for sufficient bandwidth but much more likely that you have connection problems.
Apart from your internet connection, you may want to look at the memory usage on your computer. When I had similar problems some time ago, I found that closing some unimportant programmes while I was playing solved the issue for me.
Your browser may also be the problem. If you have many tabs (or windows) open, that will significantly affect your memory usage. It is best to only have one tab open - the one that you are using to play Replay.
I don’t know the current situation but I also found that Firefox had some problems with RP in the past. I have been using Opera for quite a few months now without problems.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
TA
Yes, it helped. I’m testing browsers. Chrome crashes a lot. INTERNET EXPLORER doesn’t even work. firefox also crashes. The best one so far has been the EDGE. I only have three windows open, the game window (which opens several windows of the panel, lobby, table, and the crash occurs at bid time), the other two windows are for the translator, english and portuguese. Thanks
thanks
A really serious bug I’ve noticed: people seem to win hands against me. I hope the site can have this fixed.
Hello! So I was replaying a hand, but something strange happened; it showed cards above my opponents even though it said they mucked. The same thing happened with another hand and on another computer.
I don’t know if this was meant to happen, if it’s just something with me, or if those were the cards they actually had, but it still seems kinda weird.
I apparently gone mad or something, but I was in the ladies room, meaning I was defendly AFK and the hand got played anyway. I just returned and saw I folded 92. What is going on? Is that a bug/hacking or something else? Have you heard about this?
Hand: #852484087
Evidently the spirits played because you checked every street except the River
I know it sounds like I’m trolling, but I’m seriously not. It has happened to others aswell. I hope I’m not Hacked or something. I would love to hear what it could be. I had some serious lagg issues too, if you know your comp well you can tell something is “off” weird. But still I couldn’t find anything, looking at netstat and running scans. Idk it seem it’s gone today. I’m not saying I am, but it’s the only reason I can think of.
Is this really you posting ? Hackers can post too
