That’s nothing. The other day I was all-in 4 times in the same tournament, was head all 4 times and lost all 4. It’s also normal. That’s how poker works. Over the long term I will probably win 70% of those hands. I just happened to have bad luck to lose 4 in a row. It’s called variance. It’s important. We can’t win much money without variance because that bit of bad luck that we have is what keeps the bad players coming back to pay us over and over.
Bad players can’t win consistently without luck, and players won’t keep playing if they don’t win enough. If we want to keep getting paid by bad players, we have to lose a few suckouts and bad beats to them to keep them interested.
It’s frustrating when it happens but in the long run it’s good for us.
