I was actually a Blackjack player so did that at the Casino and elsewhere. Played Poker socially occasionally but never at the Casino and won a pub comp the one time I entered. Actually learnt poker properly here just by observation and talking to other players (thanks those people), took me way too long to get any good. Planning to go back to live comps very soon. I think this site is great and amazed anyone has anything even slightly negative to say, Thanks

my own schedule is the only thing stopping me playing live poker tables. Pubs tend to do weeknights and my local casinos donāt advertise their game times well
I started playing poker with my parents as a teen. It was and is a family game in our households. As adults I have played in tournaments, casinos etc. Live poker is more fun and more trustworthy. Our problem is where we currently live we do not have access anything other than family games or we would be playing much more often.

you get the the same thrills and mentaL HIGH AS WHEN YOU PLAY REAL POKER. to me this real, i treat those credits given to like it is real and then play acordingly. after an evening of playing I have the best sleep ever. I actually won a tournament [Texas hold-em] at Isle of Capri casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Thrill of my life. I was considered a high roller. The economy went bad. The casinoās quit paying. I quit casinoās. But have a once a week poker club for 2 hours only. I enjoy very playing for 10 years now.
I like live poker because of the social interaction. Better than an anonymous keyboard chat.
