100k CONTEST POLL - Have you played live poker?

I enjoy poker with friends from time-to-time but recently dropped out of my regular group simply because they play too often for me, and scheduling led to an insufferable number of texts.

Yes i have and thats what makes the stupid plays here so annoying, people risk real money differently, some of the constant all ins, hand after hand are ridiculous, just bully bids when they have nothing but dont care because its pixel money, does spoil the game. Still play though because i always hope for that one hand that will take them out lol. anyway just my opinion  thanks for the game

The thrill of live poker is great but the pace of online poker makes live look pedestrian

yes, don’t like it can’t trust the site

Well, my father was a professional gambler and owned several card rooms way back in the 60’s. I guess it’s in my blood. I don’t play live poker but a couple of times a year now but I’m getting old. lol.

I think live cash/tourney poker is easier to handle as people tend to play more realistically. Online free poker is a good challenge and maybe even character forming  I enjoy both.

Played every night for 1 year (free poker) at the hotels and pubs in my area. The winner was the last man/woman standing..A fantastic feeling when you take out 80 players.

been playing poker in my garage for 15 yrs with friends and family.

We have been having a monthly poker school with 6 of us for the past 33 years. A few of the original group have passed away so they are replaced. Not big stakes, but good fun with a few drinks. We have a board with all the straight flushes attached. Over all these years there have only been 15 straight flushes.

I was too young (and too poor) to play live poker when I was in Vegas. Next time I try !

I live in a gated (over 50’s) community and we have several poker ‘schools’ running. Wednesday morning is 2 hrs of Texas Hold 'Em; where we get, on average, 3 tables of 7 playing. Friday night is 4&1/2 Hrs of mixed poker variants, with supper at 8.30pm and ‘my’ Rebel Poker Tour is on Monday mornings - 3 hrs of anthing BUT Texas Hold 'Em. I started the Rebel Tour and it’s designed for players who know how to play and want to test their skills in a variety of formats. As you may gather, we have a hard core group of Poker fans who love the action, and interaction, that comes with live games. The best times of the week!

I’m from Zimbabwe. I would love to play live poker, but unfortunately, my country has no poker rooms.

I enjoy playing live poker. I get to meet great people and enjoy table chat about sharing poker experiences, It’s entertaining and fun.

Sharpen your poker skills, learn when to bluff, win big bluffing. It’s all able to be experienced for free. No worries, no pain no loss, all gain. Win or lose it’s a learning experience. And fun till the last drop:)

I have played both. Prefer live but online is more convenient. shuffle up. stay well

Yes I have played live poker. I started at home games, but have since played in casinos both in Canada and the United States.

Yes, I learned to play Hold ‘em in the Biloxi and Gulfport, Mississippi casinos back in 2007:while living there to help Katrina victims rebuild. I prefer live, cash games and live tournaments because there is real $$$ on the table which helps to negate the donk play!

I would still play live games but really can’t afford it.

I get too nervous playing live. I will play occasionally with friends but not in a Casino anymore.
