I have never lost my confidence.

If I am playing poorly, one of 2 things happensā€¦

I figure out what I am doing wrong and correct it, which gives me more confidence, not less.

Or, Iā€™m too dumb to figure out what Iā€™m doing wrong, so blame my misfortune on an anomalous run of cardsā€¦ a statistical fluke. If itā€™s not my fault, why lose confidence? The fact that its optimistic delusion shouldnā€™t make a difference, should it?

Look on the bright side. Your opponent could have stayed in with 9D 2C and would STILL have beaten your Aces!

@Jabr you shouldnā€™t lose self-confidence on that hand in post # 20. I think you made the correct call pre-flop.

But, if your opponent hadnā€™t gone all-in pre-flop would you have folded after the flop when he probably wouldā€™ve done it anyway?
