The fairness debate

Hey Cleaver… Really ??? Seriously ??? … I consistently go up in chips not down… @ 4.4m currently. Do I go on bad runs, heck yeah… Do I get hot, heck yeah… ( psst: its not fixed )

I’ll venture to say, being vocal, prolly hasn’t set me in the best light with the staff. ( cause I don’t agree on everything )… but you see, The Staff around here run a pretty tight ship, better than alot sites do. They also actually listen to thier customers… As for the cards around here, I will say seems to me the most random I have come across. So Cleaver, before you knock ReplayPoker, maybee you should learn to play better poker !!!

LOL! Told ya!

Like many, I too said I would never buy chips and I have not needed to buy chips. However, I have hours of enjoyment from this site and would hate to see it disappear. I spend $1,000s a year field trialing my bird dogs around the country, and large sums for other hobbies and entertainment. What then is a few dollars for chips to support a business that offers me hours of entertainment? At Thanksgiving I took advantage of the special they offered and bought my first chips- the $2 special for your first time purchase. I didn’t need the chips since I had over 1.5 million but I did want to support Replay even if it was in this small way. I will buy more in the future because I want this business to succeed.
I win enough to get to brag some and lose enough to get to whine that a “luckier” player beat.

why does Replay Poker cheat? I just lost a 2000 chip hand to Ace to 5 straight. I had 10 to Ace straight. why do they not call hands correctly? It happens a lot.

If you have a hand number, or even tell me the time it happened (and what table or another player name who was also at the table – any details help), I’d be happy to take a look and see what happened. In doing many hand reviews over in support, I have yet to see the software ever be incorrect about a result.

Strong suggestion: report the hand to support. If in fact you are right they will return your chips. Good luck.

If you are talking about hand Hand #271813820 · Replay Poker you did not have a straight. In Omaha and Omaha hi/lo you must use exactly 2 of your hole cards and 3 community cards. You are counting 3 hole cards (KQJ) and only 2 community cards (AT) which is incorrect. This is the only A–5 hand in your last 200 hands so one would assume this is the hand. hyjacks won hi 23456 and lo 5432A.

Your mistake and not replay cheating.

It’s clear that replaypoker is rigged, it is not as obvious as on pokerstars (where you play for real money) but after playing for about 4 weeks (not buying chips) I see the same signs. You’re assiged an “handicap” to your account so you get good cards for some time and after that the handicap assigned changes so you get bad cards for a while and this goes on and on. I first enjoyed playing here but it is becoming so obvious after playing for a couple of weeks every day that I don’t enjoy it anymore and I will quit playing here.

True, Pokerstars is worst,cya there.

Yeah, either that or random distributions aren’t perfectly uniform.

I mean really, if you flip a coin 100 times, it should come up heads, tails, heads, tails, heads, tails, etc. If heads or tails comes up 2 or 3 times in a row, the coin is obviously rigged!

The best way to fix this would be to flash all the hole cards and the entire board for 5 seconds BEFORE the flop, so we can play a civilized game of poker without all that yucky luck and skill messing things up.

Right, right. You will hear that there is a random generator, blah, blah, blah blah. But in essence after the basic software is installed. (How many random generators can there be?) Then software programmers for the site can go modify code to favor paying members. Actually it’s all open code and anyone can do anything they want. You will find on this site as you say, success, and then long long periods of no hands and total suckouts on all in rivers. What else would make you want to buy chips is their mindset. You will also find the same four people responding to comments here to try to sell you different as you are about to see. I have been to 3 Hard Rock Hotels this year and all my playing has paid for my trips. Why would I give these whiners money? It’s free poker folks, have fun, It is not real poker.

Well, I don’t like playing knowing the game is manipulated, even if it’s for free. I would rather be willing to pay a fee if I was sure the cards were truely dealt randomly. I was able to build my stack up in a straight line only because I knew when to fold, but got tired I had to fold almost all my cards for more than an hour each day before the program decided to be in my favour again (read my handicap changed again in my favour). And yes if the coin shows head 50 times in a row and then show tail 50 times in a row and then again 50 times head again and so on (except for one or two exceptions), the coin is rigged. You are too blind to see it, don’t care about it or you are on the side of replaypoker trying your best defending them.

I would like, just once, to instead of hearing how rigged the place is, that a player who won a lot complained like a mad man over the ill-begotten winnings he had. I would so enjoy this winner cursing out Replay Poker and all the thieves that work here making sure that the rigged system stays rigged.

Happens to me all of the time. I’m sick of it. I rarely luck out on the river. Bet I lost at least 20 to 1 win tonight alone. Mainly on big pots.

If you read the certificate, the software has been fingerprinted to insure the one in use is the same as the one tested and certified. Therefore, what you suggest is simply not possible without the certifying agency being complicit. So you’d be suggesting that multiple companies would put their reputations on the line just to skew a few chips into the hands of a few players? Not quite tinfoil hat territory but close

Not to say bad beats don’t happen because they do and they do far more often here than in any real-world situation. Without hard data to support my claim, it is just a claim and 1 persons observations. Still, I have played here enough to know that more hands are played and taken to the river than in any cash game I’ve ever seen. There will be more improbable hands made here because more improbable hands are being played and floated all the way to the river.

To Replay Poker - the certificate you have is dated 2011 from what I can see. I do not know how often the certification is renewed or reviewed but in my opinion, it would be good to have something a little more recent and keep it updated to assuage people’s fears.

Best regards

Great feedback. Passing that along!

Well, if you complain about the site your odds of winning go way down. I know because I never complain and I win all the time…

Rigged, sure, but no need to complain

Certificate? Lol. Seriously, once there is a “certificate” from 6 years ago when everything was getting busted there is no foul play? Riiiiight!. And I can tell you that the site is “fingerprinted” with a total donk rewarding software. JUST LIKE THE ILLEGAL ONES FROM YEARS AGO!!!. Oh and now there are supposedly cheat apps?? Ok, commence the same 5 people that disagree with me responding…

No problem. Here is the last hand you played:

You lost because you shouldn’t have been close to going all in with that crap.

End of story.

Learn the basics instead of complaining that others steal from you.

We have a saying in german: “Wenn der Bauer nicht schwimmen kann, ist die Badehose schuld.”
Google translator says:“If the farmer cannot swim, the swimming trunks are to blame.”
Lost in translation …

Cheers
