- I like Replay Poker.
Played cards all my life but only started to play poker at age 70
I was five years old, and my Dad taught me, as he did chess, checkers, and various rummy games. That means I’ve been playing for just under 70 years! Who’da thunk it?
I firstly learnt poker at 11 and have been watching it since I was 14, never looked back since…
I started playing poker on poker stars and full tilt for play chips when I was 13/14 years old. Once I noticed myself running deep in mtt’s I could reach the final table and decided to clean up my game play by watching professionals in cash games.
I started on October 26, 2022 … I was 53 years old and I LOVE it! I am hooked
Back in the 90s I had a teacher that used to teach maths (ran a ring around the school block after school) and I would have been around the age of 14/15 (im 40 now). he messaged me this year to join replay and I took the opportunity, loved it since. have played all of these years around the world in many casinos
Started playing for matches, taught by my father to learn numbers, age about 10
I don’t remember the exact time I started but it must have been close to 70 years ago when I was about16 years of age. I enjoyed playing with my Father any card game. It seems I was a whole lot better back then than I am now but I sure enjoy playing more now.
I started playing when I was 10, I grew up with 3 brothers and they always needed and extra player so I was the lucky one loved the game and have played ever since.
I was 8 or 9 when my father took all my change teaching me poker. I learned how to play and I learned how to lose! My uncles taught me draw poker and I learned how to win!!
In the Navy I ran games and won a lot. We did not play Texas Holdem. I only learned this game watching TV and on this site. I think I have been on since it opened.

Howdy. I started playing poker around 12 or 13. The only reason I did not start playing at a younger age is because my father was a professional gambler, owning several poker rooms around the state. My mother did not want us playing poker and did her best to keep us away from the games. Got to say that she was about 50% successful as two of us started playing when we could and two of us did not like to play much. That’s some of my story, see yah at the tables!!

My uncles starting me playing poker when i was 13 … And they changed the rules alot to win my money
We thought we were playing as kids but everything was a wild card and there were no chips. Later, in my buddy’s backyard poker nights, his house rules were so bad it was scary. So I learned the rules and things got better. Now I just need to learn to fold the low pair…
Started at age 15 or 16, probably, taught by my father, as one of the immemorial duties and joys of fatherhood. Refined (if that’s the word) my game in college, then was part of a reasonably frequent cutthroat social game at my folks’ house for many years. These days, it’s Replay!
Please send me swag.
I started playing at 33 years old, learned a lot on my own, and read a few books.
