We are in the SB and raise 3BB.
BB is a good player and call

Defending range in BB imo
Flop is Qh8d4c.

You can do whatever you want in this spot.
You have a big advantage on this board, so you can start polarizing using a large size, where the middle of your range will check back. You can also just bet your entire range for small. There’s very little urgency to getting money in either though when the board is so dry and you’re out of position, so there’s also value in checking and letting your opponent catch up or bluff.
You likely have some reads on your opponent that will make one line better than the others. Normally I wouldn’t recommend splitting strategies, but in this spot, I don’t think it can possibly matter, and you should just do whatever you think is best with your exact hand.
I agree with @lihiue but would add that if you’re 100bb effective and opening 3bb, and Villain is actually a good player, I don’t think they will be defending as wide as you propose.
i check the GTO for the preflop range pretty much
GTO is almost always defending wider than a good reg
OK and why? because thats too hard to play?
