I am posting a list of all interested players that have responded to me positively about joining or starting a team.
They just need to find or be available for two or three friends that want to play on a team and have one of the team submit the roster, up to 4 players per team. Each team will have a captain for contact with organizers about upcoming player placement in games, etc. You make your own team name. Players in the forum are now looking for teammates. Try contacting one of these players and see if they are available. Some may have their own teams in mind, but put yourself out there and just keep trying. We have some time before it all begins, but let’s rock and roll on this!

Find players that want to play with you on a team, choose a captain, and submit the roster to me or one of the other organizers (up to 4 players per team). There are players in the forum looking for teammates the forum or in your own friend group Your team captain for contact with organizers about upcoming games and the roster, i.e., who is player 1, 2 and 3, etc. Decide your team name. 3 players will play each Sunday, but you can have a fourth for rotation or fill-in if you want. . A Question? If we are 4 players can we do rotaion all weeks or is the 4th player only a sub and must you play in A if you are A
As the higher ups are forming the rules, it may be a good idea to let the
alternates participate every week.
Possibly take the team’s top three scores of the four.
Otherwise, who would want to be the alternate and not be able to consistently participate.
When the rules are set, then the captains will either need to have an alternate or not
depending on the rules.
On the surface, it seemed like a good idea to have alternates.
In practicality, it gets too muddled - confusion and disorder!
After some thought, my vote would be to keep it simple and have no alternates.
When a team is missing a bowler, they use a blind score.
This keeps the team competitive to some degree.
Instead of a 0 and no hope when there is a no show, we should utilize a standard blind score.
This would ease or lessen the need for alternates.
A forced rotation would be giving up your spot for the alternate.
I don’t think that would be popular either.

I think it’s good with four players too @Kondrad after all it is a team event and being part of a team means sometimes you don’t play (@Excaliburns is sitting the bench again). 
I like the way it is being setup giving the captain more control:

Johan, the captains decide the roster and table assignments for the players. Players will be given a #1,2 or 3 assignment. Organizers will place the players in the correct league. The only restriction on that is any changes have a cutoff time of 25 hours before each game; we wanted some flexibility for players. If it became a problem and we couldn’t keep up with all the constant changes, we would make adjustments down the road to that policy. We believe it will not become a problem, and only a few captains will want to move players. We want the captains to have some control and power here to make this interesting.

We have left the decision up to the team captains on whether they want a 3 or 4 player team. We have also have left it up to the captains on how they want to use the 4th player, if they have one. The 4th player can be used strictly as a sub, or can be put into a rotation if desired. We felt this gave maximum flexibility to the team captains. Team captains can also move players around from group to group on a weekly basis if desired, or can keep players in the same groups for the entire cycle. Again, maximum flexibility for the captains.

We will be removing your lowest team scores, not individual scores. Your best 6 team scores count for your total. There are only three player spots to play in each week; if you have a fourth, one will have to sit out. There are three leagues; one of your players will be assigned to their number-matching league. The leagues are now in the private lobby loaded with the practice games. We will be starting to assign numbers to players and placing them in the appropriate leagues soon.
