upset at your saying 10 min for late regist and then you don’t keep your word . 50k tournament at 11 30 your time
Hi abbygirl
The late registration is up to 10 (5 or 20) mins, or untill all reservated (20%) seats are taken (with a min of 4 seats) When the tourney starts 20% of the seats is reserved for players who enters by late registration. If those seats are taken in few mins the late registration is closed.
It is the way it works now, the plan is to change it, but that takes some time, it is on the to-do list. I agree it is disappointed when you think to register by late registration and it is done in 2 - 5 mins.
Also when it is changed there can be tourneys with just 5 mins late registration, but also some large tourneys (300+ players) with 30 - 60 mins late registration and when possible with re-buy.
Greetings Happiness.
I agree abbygirl. Don’t understand the reason for % of seats. 10 min should be it. That is simple, right?
Hope this gets fixed soon. Besides, wouldn’t you think the more the merrier? Thanks !
I ve had no questions about 10 minutes in a tournament. I did ask what happened to 10 million of my chips.get your facts straight
Lots of users sign up only when certain number of players in registered, if RP add the unlimited seats untill 10 min, RP would run low on players again…
I can see something like up to 5 min unlimited, then if the % fullfilled as Happi say, then closed, if not , run untill end of the 10 min open.
Besides, I dont like thet late registration at all, have 1000 reasons not to like it, but hey! we can have different view on things, right?
As Happiness explained as well as a late registration period, we also have a max. percentage of late registration players allowed to join. Currently we reserve seats at existing tables rather than create new tables for late registration players, so we can’t actually allow an unlimited number of late registration players to join. However we’re going to change this to create new tables as late reg. players sign up - this will give us more flexibility like Happiness described. But it’s common in online poker sites to have a % limit on the players in addition to the length of time - late registration isn’t a guarantee of entry, so whenever possible try and register before the scheduled start time.
