I don’t know how to fix this…any ideas
I too notice no place to type chat several times last few days with slow ups & and Speed ups added for interest.
I have to reformat my table each time to get a chat box to show. I’m used to it now.
I totally agree, although I keep asking why “change” things in the first place? If the “change” means an overall improvement to the playing experience for the majority or masses then yes “we” probably need to put up with it & endure it. Otherwise whats the point of making the change?
This isn’t the first time you have mentioned this point, about “Omaha Table Colours” (OTC) and the fact they give you headaches. You have now outlined just how serious this issue is making omaha now virtually unplayable for you. Whilst I’m sympathetic & sorry you can no longer play the game you love, I’m more disappointed that players, RP community, you, me are ignored and not acknowledged by RP.
RP IMO are now doing a much better job providing feedback & communicating with the RP community than previously. No doubt RP has a To Do List with over 100 tasks & possibly multiple TDLs RE the HTML5 tables. They obviously need to prioritise their workload.
Obviously RP can’t nor should they respond to every hairball crazy idea or suggestion. I do think they should try and respond & acknowledge the intelligent & important, repeated ideas, suggestions, issues etc.
I have supported your issue “Omaha Table Colour” (OTC) twice now, despite the fact I don’t play omaha, nor do I personally have any investment or agenda, partly bc it meets the aforementioned criteria. The No#1 reason I support your “issue” is bc its a change from the original tables. I’m against all changes that 1) don’t improve the majority of RP players “experience” 2) Are made for the sake of change for no apparent reason.
Summary:
No!!! RP shouldn’t “change” things to make a “minority” or 1, 2, 5 players happy. However they also shouldn’t change things that worked & were good RE the old tables for the sake of change. Change should have a reason & be an improvement.
Again I’m sorry you can no longer play the game you love omaha. I’ll continue to support your idea/suggestions as I have others that I don’t have issue with or necessarily agree with if they logically make sense.
It saddens & disappoints me many players raise issues, threaten to leave RP & some do leave a place they called poker home for a long time.
P.S. I would love to hear RP respond RE OTC like this: Thanks commenting, reporting your issue etc. We are are currently focused on this high priority important task/project “Black Jack”, plus these minor important tasks “flippy flop” & “trap cat” This will be discussed amongst our “Arts & Crafts Aesthetics Team.” We are considering the possibility of table customisation & various colour selections in the future, which should be a great solution. We are working to develop RP & the new HTML5 tables into the overall best poker experience for everybody, and as such prioritising and working though each task/project as quickly as realistically possible without compromising quality. We hope this is an adequate response and are working to resolve everyone’s important issues including yours. Thanks for your thoughts & Feedback.

I have to believe that Replay didn’t just wake up one day and say gee…lets screw everyone by making a big of a mess of the tables as possible. Brilliant!!! That being said some issues I just can’t understand how they go on and on. Being folded out of a hand is just wrong #616764824 . Would I have really folded the winning hand…I think not!!! Somehow my betting all in on my end translated to a fold on Replays end. The very next hand, #616764972, again was folded when I bet. My other complaints, not being able to see how, or if, I won or lost a hand because I’ve been whisked away to another table, or when 2 or more players have gone all in, the next hand starts before all the previous hands cards have been dealt. Almost always this leads to 8-10 cards being shown on the next hand being in the middle at one time, not to mention that the last 2 cards of the new hand being dealt on top of each other. Hard enough to figure out if you’re on one table , but if you’re playing 2 tables, and it happens on both, impossible. Also, being folded on fast tables in Omaha hi/lo before all my cards have been dealt. This happens later in the games when I am the first person to be betting in a hand. Again and again and again. I like a faster played game…but that’s just wrong. Someone mentioned in earlier comments that Adobe Flash will be gone soon, but it’s not gone yet. I think the switch happened way to soon.

I’ve noticed this a lot recently too. Yeah its irritating to have to guess WTH is happening. Not knowing what other players have etc. Frustrating.
Wish they would have asked the Replay Community from start— if the new version should look-sound and feel close to what brought and kept Us here… Or… Touch everything with a Magic colored wand for a new and different experience…… Obviously the Team is working through problems on the changeover and truly all the Best… Hopefully way in Future We can have a Throwback Friday to old tables for laughs.

Agree. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I’m sure if RP could go back they would have started the launch of the HTML5 12 months earlier, and hopefully even done a few months of research leading up to & before the HTML5 table development. Maybe even some communication in FORUMs with the players & community to find out what they want as you mentioned.
The HTML5 tables should have been offered across various stakes to encourage a more diverse group of players to “test” early in development. Not just slowly invading from low stakes & gradually building up like a pandemic.
The new tables have a few minor improvements to the old, which are all related to ring tables. Specifically 1) the reserve seat whilst I select my buy in options, when joining a table, stops queue cutters stealing my seat, which happened often on the old tables. 2) The option to pay blinds is either broken, which I think is unlikely, or has been removed in the sense that RP Did Not add it to the new tables. It was a useless waste of time option. 3) The ADD CHIPS yellow button is a good addition although it doesn’t work properly. It would be great if it did though.
Deff agree I liked the “feel” of the old tables much more than the new tables. I do feel the tables are “performing” better & actually playable. I get much less major glitches & bugs etc. Strange some seem to indicate its worse!?!?

This comment is about the Replay option in the new format. I was able to find the hand referenced in a question I read on the forum. I went to that hand, and it played out for me so quickly I wanted to watch it again. I couldn’t find a button that allowed me to watch again. I had to go to the next hand, then click Previous to have the opportunity to review the hand in question. What am I missing? Or has it been ever thus?

Jan, just reload the page. In Chrome, the F5 key will do this, or click the arrow thingie to the left of the url bar. Every browser should have an easy way to refresh the page.

Here’s a recent glitch that a few players have experienced. I know it happened to bahia, watched it happen to someone else and tonight, it happened to me. I was all in on the ante - I had no action buttons to use and even though I was all in, my clock ran down and my hand was folded. How can an all in be folded? When the player has no control over what’s happening? I know this has happened to quite a few players. Very frustrating and a huge bug.

It’s happened to me twice now and one of the times I had a hand I really wanted to play. They definitely need to get this bug fixed. Always seems to happen when you are forced in by the antes or blinds, and thus are given no action to take (since there is no action you can take).

I wonder if its worse in MTT & SnGs? Its happened a few times in ring for me but I do feel that these glitches are happening less frequently, contrary to what many say.
As @bahia7 said its happened to me with decent hands that will tilt me if I fold. Im so desperate I would shove all in if available, but I certainly dont have the nuts. Its just frustrating having no option to actually play.
We have a fix for this on our testing server right now. We’re in the QA process, but expect that it will be rolled out to the tables soon.

MTT 3670377 has all but 1 table locked and has been for several minutes. One table with only 3 players operating normally.
I can’t tell you how disappointed I am with the new tables. I have complained several times daily when the feedback buttons were still available and sent daily emails as well. Extra cards show on the table. I have taken screen shots. I am folded when I want to call, raise, or go all in, only to find out post and fold has been checked. This should not happen! Sometimes the play is over so fast you don’t know who won the hand. And now the feedback button has been taken away. Other players are complaining too and I don’t see that anything has been done to fix these problems.

What happened to the feedback buttons? They sucked by forcing you to miss 3 hands while typing any sort of meaningful description of an issue, but at least I felt like i had a way to provide findings back to the development team.
Is this thread the official line to get info to the developers now? Or is feedback from the peasants no longer welcome?
This is how you provide feedback now. A couple of weeks (or days?) ago this change was announced. I appreciate the change and hope others do to.

Yeah, the feedback button was found to be one of the main causes of the lag so many players were experiencing, so it was removed.
I can assure you that the peasant’s voices are being heard, especially if they are wielding pitchforks and torches. Serfs, on the other hand, still need the written permission of their landowners before they can be allowed to speak.
