Hi smallmac

At the moment the ranking is based on the total amount of chips the player has. The plan is to change it and base it on skills and winnings. That is more fair, i hope it can be added soon, it is already on the to-do list.

The tournament ranking is based on the tournament points you win by playing (and winning) of tournaments.

Greetings Happiness.

Yeah agreed smallmac. A new system is coming but it’ll probably be next year when we get around to changing it.

We intend to make the ranking an indication of the ability of the player, rather than her bankroll. We want the ranking to really be authoritative, that’s why we’ve already started consulting with experts in this area to determine how best to do it.

cool

I’d rather see every ones win/loss rate.

Yeah, I agree with this!

You could buy Yer rate otherwise.

Not that Replay would hate this.

That’s why Replay loves ALL IN players before the Flop!

These players can’t play poker thus have to buy LOTS of chips.

too any people obsess over rank. This is play money lol.People that play ring games don’t get “points” .If you think playing on a play money site will improve your “real” money game i don’t think so .That might work if you are playing very high stakes here…just my opinion. Lighten up and enjoy the fake chip site afterall this is the best one out there since PKR.COM shut down.

If you go to the toplist pulldown tab they do have the Top 10 Weekly, Monthly and yearly based on MTT points (under the MTT tab). Also in your statistics pulldown those values are available in the top left corner. No rankings but you can see where you stack up. Sure it wouldn’t be too technically difficult to get a ranking since Replay has all the information, but there is other info Id rather see first (ie Tournaments won, ITM %, ROI)

Problem is Ring game points dont equate to MTT points and dont equate to SNG tournament points. So it would be really difficult to make a meaningful site wide ranking with points. Chips are chips across all games points aren’t. Neither are perfect measure but you work with what you got.

But I agree with @ColbyRoad people are way too obsessed with rankings. It really doesn’t mean much.

ty!

It means something at the Younguru 165 or higher level, as I’m guessing one doesn’t get ranked that high, unless they are extremely good. As to whether this site will help real money play, yes and no. Yes at higher levels, no at lower levels, and yes if a lesser player if can learn a lot from higher level play, not as much if already play real money profitably like Younguru, myself, and others, altho again at the higher stakes, it can help real money players stay sharp, and can improve a little tiny bit, but less then others since play real money.
