For those who think they always lose because the site is rigged

I got again no points for Pl.3 in Game #5519485.
That means no points for the last 5 days. Missing points for 4 top 3 or 4 places.

I also was trying to do the math. That many chips in only 7 months without buying is astounding good luck… or not.

Beyond good. This should be what the tin foil hat wearers should be complaining about. Those kind of results in just a few months of play are certainly questionable. We had a similar situation around the same time he started playing where someone started playing and a day or two later had a bankroll like that. To have that many chips in only 8 months means he’d have to average over 1.1 million a day. Not buying it.

We shall see. I’ve been grinding it out for 7 years here.

That bankroll was a few billion in a few days.

I went back and looked and on another page it said he started playing April 27. That’s even more suspicious as he’d have to have won almost 2 million a day on average.

Even so, unbelievable to have done so well in such a brief period. He’d have to play 8 hours a day and average almost 250k per hour every day for five months to achieve those results. Why would anyone do that? Where’s the challenge of winning that much on a free site if you are as good as he would lead us to believe? I’d be playing for real money if it were me. At least there would be some kind of reward other than being on some sort of ego trip.

Hmmmmm. Interesting

I’ve played against him quite a bit on high stakes MTT’s. My impression of him is he is a solid player. I have not seen him playing ring games. His biggest 10 pots all occurred about 6 months ago and averaged around 250,000 chips.
I don’t think MTT tournament payouts show up on the biggest pots list. Which suggests that he had to have earned almost all of his chips playing MTT. He is currently number 27 on the yearly MTT list.

Thank you. Still have to win lots and lots of pots to accrue almost 300 million chips since April 27th.

I don’t know about all of the questions about his performance. There was a guy who started 2 years ago and reached 4 billion in 4 months and up to 20 billion within a year of play on here. Then he disappeared last December 2021 or January of this year.

Anyone remember him?

He’s supposedly a poker pro and poker coach according to his profile that played low stakes today and didn’t win hardly any hands.

The random generator apparently gets confused by the what the definition of random means. I see quads daily, too and I also regularly get the same hand x/x off suit three or four times in a row. They never win of course.

Poker is zero sum. Where are all the people saying they never lose? Even the top players will say it feels like they’re constantly being cheated.

Hi folks,
Yes it’s all true. Actually I feel I spent the first few months not being as efficient cause I had to play low stakes 50K, 20K Mtts so I was moving very slowly. But once I got to few Ms in bankroll, and I started playing 250K, 1M Mtts things accelerated.
Furthermore for the last 2 months or so I started regularly playing 2.5M Saturday Fever and 5M Widows Bite (The highest stakes Mtts on the site). That’s when my Bankroll really exploded, cause 1 win of Widow’s Bite and you get 57M and Saturday fever 27M. I win those with unusual regularity (although I either win or do not place, but again you win those once and it’s a huge jump). So for example I had 110M September, and so far 85M October. But in October, I drastically slowed on already slow rate of play. I took multiple extended breaks from the game, so I probably haven’t played in October for over 10 days. So for example I have skipped big weekend tourneys 2 weekends in a row in October and I will most likely skip Widow’s Bite today… But who knows, tune in, I might play the early one.
And no I do not play often at all, due to my job. I play more over the weekend, but I play way less then standard leaders on the boards like AA–suited, TheSilent etc. They generally play 30%-60% more tourneys than me. I just make it count each time I play.
IMO, 250K Mtts are the biggest bang for the buck. So anyone trying to get to some serious Bankroll should focus on those. 2.5M and 5M Mtt should be played only when you feel comfortable with your game, very successful in 250K and 1M mtts, and are frequently outplaying the players that play big weekend tourneys (AA-suited, EasywithAAA, TheSilent, DukeofNY, zeker, etc.)

But it’s fascinating the same conspiracy theories that develop on any site, regarding why a leading hand loses, are functioning in this thread and in interpretation of my Bankroll. It speaks a lot about human psychology, and something this video (above) is discussing. We would rather consider nefarious reasons than consider the stats, game theory, legitimate explanations, etc.

Sorry but this is funny!
First off, nothing I have stated regarding my bank roll on the site was subjective. I shared only facts.
Second of all, if you still really believe I had ā€œluckā€ during this multi month period, then again, I really think you should re-watch the video above. But more importantly, you don’t understand statistics. Cause every single one of us have our statistical share of good luck and bad luck. And poker is game where you pick the spot, so that bad luck cost is minimized, and the good luck benefits are maximized. Once a player understand this about poker, then they will practice a ā€œprofitableā€ play.

You’ve mentioned one should re-watch the video above several times?

Which video?

How about a post #?

I searched all of your posts and didn’t see a link to one. I still may have missed it since there are now 190 posts.

Thanks.

one question remains, why are you not playing real money?
