Hello everyone,

We put a pause on this, but we are so thankful for @BIGGUYTERRY for recently achieving 1,500th login streak and sharing some information about them. Congratulations Terry!

My name is Terry. I am 75 and live in Colorado Springs. Being retired military after 26 years Navy service I have lived all over the our great country. Also have been lucky enough to been deployed to some great places around the world. When I was a kid of 10-12 I started playing poker with my dad and family, usually after holiday meals. We played for pennies but the family took it serious. Later in life I played in some small local tournaments and won a few small tournaments for bar tabs and t-shirts. Before Replay I played on some websites but they always pushed for real money tournaments. Replay came along and have been loyal for 7 1/2 years. Have almost never played high stakes games because socializing is more important to me then winning really big pots. Usually play the 2500 or 5000 tournaments and have met some great people. Outside of Replay I love to travel and am actually at the beach near Pensacola FL writing this. Thanks Replay for the opportunity to post this as I just surpassed the 1500 days of continuous check in.

Blessings Terry

Hello Everyone!

After putting a pause on this initiative, we’re contacting players again who reached at least 1,000 login streak. If you recently achieved this, please bear with us as we go through the list. To re-up this post, first up is the amazing @Litenin who recently made 3,000 login streak to Replay. Congratulations and thanks for all you do for our community! :tada:

Hi everyone, I’m 68 years Young ha-ha from the great state of Alabama. I have been very blessed in life to have a wonderful wife for 40 years, 5 children many Grand’s and 2 Great Grand’s. I am a retired Maintenance manager for a large food manufacturer and have played online free poker for last 25-30 years after work to unwind. I was playing at a site that charged annually to play the games and very glad I found Replay Poker as my new poker home. Replay has focused on a community fun based, free poker site since inception. It is truly a community of Great Folks that helps each other, not only in forums but at the tables.

I remember making the 300 Club in Bowling but never thought the older I got, I would be shooting for the 3000 Club here at Replay Poker. Thanks Replay for the daily sign in streak tickets to reward all members and I strongly encourage everyone to set & stick to their goal, 1,2, 3 or even 4K consecutive Replay sign in’s.

I truly enjoy my poker games & opportunities of reaching my goal of each game, But I Enjoy the Great Folks here & the fellowship more than anything. I am very proud to be a Replay moderator and want to help players with any questions, concerns or ideas to continuously improve Replay Poker. Please feel free to ask me of your questions, etc. and I promise to assist all to the very best of my ability.

Good Luck at the tables and have fun everyone!!! & to those who believe, May God Bless you, my/f = my friends, which I Pray is everyone:))

Hello Everyone!

Please help me congratulate @Billy131, who recently achieved 1,500th login streak in Replay!

I was born in Philly, PA in 1957. We (my friends and I) went to the Jersey Shore from the late 60s up. I stood on the roof of Resorts International Casino in Atlantic City when gambling started there. We went to the 17th floor and crashed on some couches while construction was going on in the middle of the night, and the casino was open on the first floor; smoked a cig on the roof in the morning right behind the huge resorts sign that people can see for miles driving into town. I was about 19 years old. I’m 68 now. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I’m retired now and living in Virginia. I play poker every day because I love playing cards. My mother and I would play canasta all night sometimes when I was in 6th grade. When the sun started to pop up I’d say, “Ma I can’t go to school now,” and we would keep playing.

A couple years ago I played 1/2 no limit hold’em at the Borgata for 29 hours straight. About 6 out of the nine were there the whole time. I bought them all breakfast for staying so long.

Enough history. I play Replay Poker because it’s fun, not only all the different games, but the customer service is second to none. I’ve been playing here almost every day for 9 years.

My strategy is… in a tourney only play the binds. In a sit and go… play almost every hand, with one exception: high stakes. You have to be way more careful there. Play high stakes like you would a tourney.

If I had to give a tip to a new Replayer I would say, don’t bluff and don’t raise until you have something. The best poker players know when to fold.

Billy131 has more tips for players who are just getting into poker, and you can read them in his profile: Billy131 Profile - Replay Poker

I just found out I just went over 2600 about a week ago. I had no idea. So here is some info on me:

Born in 1960 and raised in Akron, Ohio. Left Ohio in 1980 a year after I graduated High School. Went from the great white north to Phoenix, Arizona. Talk about a crazy change in weather and culture. But as much as I loved it, my parents and sister thought it was too hot for them. The final straw for my mother was the first Christmas we had and a neighbor across the street mowing his lawn on Christmas morning LOL. So them moved back to Ohio in 81’. I stayed until 1982 and then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where my parents moved to before myself.

As for my name “Howie Long”. It comes from my becoming a fan back in 1975 and I met Howie at a show and got his autograph. I think that was the year 1982. Been a long suffering fan ever since.

Me my future wife in 1989 and we married in 1992 and now are still married to this day. She is my best friend! I play in Vegas at least once a year, except for the Covid years. So been going for almost 20 years. Don’t play much poker to be honest. The poker rooms are just too smoky. And I don’t smoke.

I have almost 200 friends in here but only about 20 that I talk to regular. If any of you have questions LMK. Thanks.

Chris

Happy Monday, Everyone!

Please welcome @RazorB who recently achieved 1,000th login streak!

I started to play Poker completely falling for the “Moneymaker effect”, online and live, in 2003/2004. After a while I began playing and beating the games offered weekly at my hometown´s pubs (being a student at that time that was huge!!). My parents weren´t too happy about me spending time on this hobby instead of studying, but after I brought back home a pack of €€€ for the first time to pay my rent with, those discussions were over.

After about 2 1/2 years I felt like I wouldn´t learn anything new about the game any more while beating the local games on a regular basis, thus it became boring instead of challenging. Playing online, solvers and poker forums were not really established back then and good poker books were rare. On top the nearest casino was too far to go there regularly, so I quit playing.

I rejoined the game in 2017 after moving to southern Germany, playing online (joining Replay) and live again, mostly for socialising reasons. I became member at a regional Poker Club to play regularly and went to a local casino several times. It took me about a year to reach a competitive level again but after that the results were good, annoying the established players. In my second full season at the Poker Club, I finished 3rd place in SnGs and MTTs overall season tables. I also found a good friend at that Poker Club who also plays here on Replay regularly. Due to moving again (and a certain pandemic) I quit live games for a while and focussed on playing here.

A little more then 1 1/2 years ago I fulfilled my second life´s dream and moved from Germany to Curacao (yes, that´s the flag in my avatar). Playing online for real money is not allowed here, thus I do spend a lot of time on Replay. This year I found a small group of regular players here on the island as well, so I go to the casino two or three times a month. My results at the SnGs & MTTs are fine right from the start. “Training” on this site seems to pay off though there surely are quite some differences between both playing environments.

To improve my game, I spend some time reading poker books and also discussing and analyzing hands with solvers and other players help a lot. I really like reading through other player´s thoughts and ideas while giving my own every once in a while, too. So, that’s more than enough of me, I guess. I could add the almost 30 year old story leading to my nickname, but because that was born by accident out of a certain situation and a certain weird sense of humour with good friends doing nerdy word games for which you have to understand German AND English that wouldn’t make sense to anyone outside that friend group, I think. On top reading “30 years old story” now I feel like a grandpa, hahaha.

Yours,
RazorB

Hello everyone !! My name is Michael (ChicagoSerbs), I would like to thank the staff of Replay for recognizing the players that have streaks working and Congrats to all the players that have them
Little about me, I started playing poker very very long time ago. Back then you played poker at VFW, LasVegas nights in church halls or at someones house How things changed Then I started playing online like Full Tilt Poker until they got busted LOL Then about little over seven years I found Replay on a google search and been playing ever since. Good health and being retired for over five and half years helps with my streak
Little about my username, born and raised in Southside of Chicago I lived in a community called East Side where many Europeans lived like Serbians (me), Italians, Germans and Greeks. When I was very young I received the nickname of Serbs Back in the early 2000:s I started playing fantasy football and baseball Guess what my team name was “ChicagoSerbs” LOL Hoping one of my grandsons inherit the name LOL
Thank you again Replay
