Someone was making the rounds in Replay last night, typing “RIP Doyle Brunson” in various chats. For anyone who saw that, it’s a lie. Tx_Dolly is still very much alive.
Maybe they were on tilt from when they WAY over played 10-2 off suit, in early position?

gatzby…You are most welcome. The funny thing was, Doyle had just recently Tweeted that he hadn’t seen any reports of his death, recently. I guess someone thought the rumor needed to be started, again.
I met Doyle in '06 at the WSOP main event in Vegas, He was promoting his site in the vendor area at the Rio and was happy to just sit there and talk poker. He’s a very nice guy, and mentioned that he has lost more money with 10-2 than with any other hand… lol.
(For those of you who don’t know, Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson won back to back WSOP main events with 10-2 offsuit, in 1976 and 1977)
He seemed nearly dead back in '06, but it’s nice to know he’s still around.
