I love playing in this league and am happy to be a part of it! There are a lot of suggestions out there and it shows that there are more than just me who love Donks! For me it works as it is laid out perfectly, as I live in Europe, I can play Wednesday and Sunday and it doesn’t interfere with other leagues that I play in! But as I said I love this league and as long as I’m welcome I will play and fight for the win! I will stand behind whoever takes over and whatever changes! It will never be perfect for anyone! But let’s Donks live on, with the beautiful fighting spirit and the fight to be the best!

I support Norris 100%, I most defiantly would play more, if @_snowman takes over and implements his idea’s.
He is an organizer, and has had influence on the startup and success of so many leagues including mine, He is not only a great person, but one of the best players I know. He is more than qualified to take over Donks and bring it into the new year with an excellent plan.

I would like to see recruiting based on a player’s WILLINGNESS to play and LEARN.
The silver Donks should offer to mentor and coach new members and FORGE a good player into a STRONG player. I coached 4 or 5 players during my stay in the league, they improved, and some moved to Gold not because of the coaching but their willingness to get strong and LEARN. These will be the players to carry the Donks torch long after we no longer play this great game!

Other leagues can be farming leagues for the Donks if Norris combines silver and gold into one.
I know I will help him in any way I can, as he has helped me. I have an open-door policy and allow other leagues to place ads in my forum and chat rooms for upcoming events etc. If you do well in my league you will be ready for the Donks, I know that sounds self-serving, it’s not, it’s an option, a collaboration, and others should follow suit. let the Donks be the best of the best, I know my place here.
I definitely will let Norris place prospects and recruit from my league if it’s a useful process for him.

You didn’t become the Nordic Warriors commander/war lord by having mundane spelling skills, no worries. I see that you are battling one of your top warriors for the Sunday 7PM medallion, good luck commander!
Your numbers are in the realm of some of the best players here, I never look at how many games, I look at what you did in the games you played. and you Bori are a warrior. I always look forward to playing you.
I haven’t been able to put the time in Donk’s that is necessary to achieve a medallion, my numbers are not bad for only playing a 1/3 of the games in the overall, and as much as I would like to play in the Gold’s, I don’t see beating you this quarter.
I have played 2 more games than you and there is only a 14,508 advantage for me. Dust it off and fight soldier! Anything can happen in the next two games!
“3 - Number of games per week : Four games a week at 100K can add up pretty quickly. If you play all the games it would cost you 4.8 million chips per quarter. That’s a substantial investment every quarter. Also two games per day twice a week is a substantial time investment and can drain you, both physically and mentally, especially if you go deep into both tournaments. Therefore we would cut back to three games per week and do away with two games per day. We would play on the traditional Wed 9pm, Sunday 3pm, and move to a Friday 7pm time slot. I am open to adjusting the time slots if necessary.”
First of all those who play in Donk League can afford to lose here. They have a good size bankroll or they wouldn´t be here.
Second a lot of existing Donk players would prefer more games, not less. Cutting out the early game Wednesday will leave the non American players to be able to play only one game a week. That could very well lead to them finding other leagues that can fulfill their needs. Also a 7pm Friday game leaves a very narrow window from TPP game. Are you confident that they will choose Donk League? That is a gamble for sure as you have a lot of TPP members here.
What Donk League needs is to bring back the Ambassador Program. It worked and it built up the sense of being included in the community for the new players joining then. The Ambassadors did a great job in close contact with @chuckcox as chief recruiter and the Donk leadership.
Not all players on Replay are retired. Some still have to work to be able to feed themselves and their family, so after the pandemic is over the drop in participation is a natural development.
Last you might have to consider to be honest to the community about just how many times you have dropped all your responsibilities in several leagues and left, before the members here cast their votes.

Happy to see drastic action was taken and interesting plans are in the works for the future of the leagues, have a safe and enjoyable vacation! I don’t know who Naffy is but it seems he has the respect of many here and again, I wish him success with his new endeavors!

Good news, looking forward to 2024.
I don’t know why I am thinking about Bill Murray in the movie “What about Bob” the term “baby steps” and " a prescription for a vacation" keep popping in my head.
I blabbed to Nafffy to see if he would respond, he did in kind, seems like a good guy.
I came to this site to play and have a good time; I have been lucky to have made some friends here that I would consider some of the best poker players Replay has to offer.
This latest announcement is ambivalent. If the game times are compatible, I will get to play with the golds in the coming year. I have been wanting to show them what’s up for a while, just didn’t have the time to follow the tier system.
I am not sure about the we will re-structure the tiers in quarter two statement, sounds dodgy.
I think Norris @_snowman would have done a fantastic job, and I know for a fact he never left a league unless they either did something stupid, or he didn’t agree with the decisions they made, his moral compass if top notch! not to be tested. Some not all those leagues are still operating on his script but seem to think it’s okay to say inappropriate things.
I have learned a few things after posting the survey question. I won’t list them; it would only spark a conversation that nobody wants to hear.
People are just people, flawed, human, in the end we are all here for similar reasons, Poker, people and fun, I know I will do my best to throw some kindling on the fire that Badonk had burning when he was talking smack, playing on the lighter side of fun and people. I don’t care who you are, I will talk smack, pump you up and take your chips all at the same time.
