Shoutout

I recently found myself in first place on the Gemstone Diamond best 7 leader board. I was excited because first, I like free chips. And also, I’ve never finished any LB in first.

I probably had it wrapped with the first 20 games. Then I noticed I was getting close to 200,000 tournament points. This got me curious. Has anyone every finished the week, with over 200K pts.?

I gave myself 30 games to see if I could, but only finished 27, before I burned out, ending with 198,745.

I then checked the sheets for the year and found that Goatsoup finished with 226,672 pts., One week in March, playing 17 games. Tatsel got 235,251 pts. With 31 games, in April, this year. I only checked this year, and there were only two.

My seven games consisted of 3 wins, a 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th place finish, to even get close.

Those guys must have been playing some outstanding poker.

Nerd alert…I put the spreadsheet i used at Diamond games - Google Sheets
This is what happens when I suddenly have time on my hands,

I don’t know if I have ever gone over 200k in a weekly MTT board. I’ve won the monthly quite a few times back when I was playing more, so maybe.

I have tried to “go perfect” in the weekly SnG best 20 though. Best I was able to manage was 17 wins, and that took almost 70 SnGs. After 2 weeks of playing that much, I was burned out and haven’t tried since.

Congrats on the LB win! Winning 3 MTTs out of 27 isn’t easy… great job!

Is this a league for just noob fun?

Or is a league of serious players?

On this page shows different Leaderboards

I havent seen anywhere on this site where the poker ability is above the noob level…

Any two cards can win…
Any ace is good…
chase, chase chase…
and see every flop (bingo)

try the donks son, we will embarrass you.

There are many places here on Replay that suit your needs for a different less donkish player type.
I organize such leagues, but you may have to build up your 2,500 bankroll a bit before taking on @boatdrinks suggestion of the Donks or my Nordic Warriors in the private section, the buy ins are a little out of your range right now, but when you are ready give us a shout.

lol…

my “short” stack size is because when i build my stack to ten million or above. I lose it on purpose and start all over again… check my history.

It’s the only challenge i can find.

I haven’t met many none donkish players here.

Almost all of them have only play chip poker experience, the only people i have met that have real poker skills are the ones that have played live poker… and they dont stick around long because they cant handle all the noobs in the jungle.

Thanks for the offerr…

But the donks guy said the same thing…

Hence my original outburst
enjoy your “pretend poker” leagues though…

Take care

Don’t take offence at what I said about your BR, your retort is interesting and one I have never came across, odd may be a good word, why wouldn’t you set your goal to reach a billion, instead of losing or dumping then building, that system goes against all sensible poker BR management, I have been playing this game since 1982, both live and online when it became available, I know what players you speak of, I invite you to take on my Nordic Warriors, we have many players that play both live and here, if you feel the same after playing them, I will kiss your _ _ _ in front of Macie’s, although many have tried few have succeeded. The gates of Valhalla await you. We will show you that this site has many groups that have what you seek, you just haven’t found it yet.

Second @_Rain - come join Nordic Warriors and post 2 wins in the next 10 tournaments. If you’re so skilled, it should be no problem

Thanks for the reply.

The reason I don’t reach for a billion is because to me it’s meaningless.

This is nothing like real poker.

So I don’t hold any value to my chip amount, or my status.

Just a way to keep my mind distracted while i am writing.

One of the biggest things i miss from real poker is talking poker between hands.

You do it here and most call you a know it all.

Can’t waste my time with them.

So I now play fairly low stakes… pick up chips… and try to stay awake…

Im not better than anyone else… im just not as bad as most of the players on play chip sites.

Enjoy your games…

If this is like real poker, answer me one question.

How many people usually see call an unraised pot , every hand? (average: how many players see the flop)

I tried the Donks… didnt see anything different, thats why i posted originally, I was invited to play against good players, not donks.

Quickly, thats not what i found.

So no more donk leagues for me

do not let the door hit you where the lord split you. seeya!!

Um having played both real money live poker tournaments for about 18,19 years since about 2005, 2006, at the $15 to $40 tournament buy in stakes, and since I played real money online poker from about 2004,2005 to 2011, at, between about the $1 and $6 sit n go, tournament buy in stakes. And since I cashed about 113 to 125 out of 300 $15 to $40 buy in 70 player tournaments offline at casinos, and grinded $15 up to $1850 playing sit n go’s and tournaments online at Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars online, and since I had about a 36.5% cashing Ratio, and about a 19% to 29% ROI BOTH offline at casinos and online, I am qualified to say that Real money online poker are better player the offline real money casino players at the lower semi micro, to low to semi mid stakes. Once get to mid stakes to high stakes offline at casino’s the play level is about tied, equal to Online real money poker play. Real money Live poker doesnt get to be better then real money online poker UNTIL get to the NOSEBLEED, PRROFESSIONAL, WSOP, WPT, PRO, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, BEST of the BEST level, over, comparatively, over high stakes, nosebleed stakes in real money online poker, at least that’s what I have seen, heard, followed, etc, over the last 20 years from credible pros, players, etc, as I dont play at those levels, since my highest stake level’s is, was, etc, $50 tournament buy in’s at casino, and $7 tournament buy in’s and the occasional $40 WSCOOP(World Series OF ONLINE POKER, sponsored by Poker Stars, WSOP, WPT) tournament buy in’s(just barely bubbled, cashed one of them, and just barely bubbled out short of cashing in another(1 of them was the 1 that Shaun Deeb, Son of PRO Freddy Deeb(Won a bet against Shaun Deeb at 2+2 poker forums(If I won bet, Shaun Deeb agreed to have a an acquaintence, associate coach me, and arranged, set up my poker coach, poker mentor, etc.), won(Shaun Deeb won that WSCOOP tournament(about 2000 to 4000 to 6000 players in field), in real money online poker at Pokerstars.

There are extremely high skilled real money players at Replay. Most of them are in Nordic Warriors and 1 of the other league’s, I forget which one, and they have way more then 10 million chips. One of the players here at Replay, has 700,000,000 million chips, plays real money poker, both offline at casinos, and online. There are tournaments at Replay that cost 1 mil to 2 mil to buy into tournament. In those, most to almost all of the players are not donks, or few, some, play real money poker live or online, and most to almost all are the better, best of the best, most competitive, most skilled players on this site, and might semi probably would either give even you a run for your money, or might semi probably outplay even you.

So you probably shouldn’t make the assumptions your making.

Shortened version:

Real money online poker players are generally better then real money live poker players until get to the Nosebleed, WSOP, WPT, Phil Ivey, Negreanu Level, at which point real money live pro’s like Phil Ivey are better then real money nosebleed, pro, etc, stakes online poker players at the comparative, equivalent stake levels for both real money live and real money online poker.

Also part of the Shortened version:

The Nordic Warrior League, and the Highest stake level players at Replay are generally not donks, and are about almost equal, equivalent to real money poker player’s both live, online, and some of those player’s here at Replay do play real money both live poker and real money online poker, and not only do they the players that do play real money, play real money, they most to almost all of them do so quite profitably, and are not donks, and are sharks, etc.

thanks for the replay…

I’m not going to argue this.

It’s donks in the regular site.

I was invited to join a league, but i may as well beem playing “go fish”. It was donks there.

A player from the donks league invited me to try them out… Same thing, nothing but chase heaven… There may have been good players, but they didn’t show up… It was donks there.

So lets end this conversation with this…

I’m not interested.

But thanks for the offer/

Take care
