mayo_1506 joins the 500 club
The 500 club consists of all Donks who have shown outstanding dedication to the league by playing in at least 500 league games.
It is my privilege to present to you @mayo_1506 as the latest member of the 500 club. mayo_1506 joined us in May 2019 in the Grey Foals tier. He advanced to the Golden Donks at the end of his very first quarter by finishing 2nd on the 2019 Q2 Silver Donks Composite leaderboard. mayo_1506 is one of our most active members having played in 65 games in 2019, 97 games in 2020, 129 games in 2021, 136 games in 2022, and 73 games to date in 2023.

snitty joins the 500 club

It is my privilege to present to you @snitty as the latest member of the 500 club. snitty joined us in April 2021 in Silver Donks tier. He advanced to the Golden Donks at the end of his very first quarter by finishing high on the 2021 Q2 Silver Donks Composite leaderboard. After several quarters in Gold, snitty earned his first two Golden crowns by winning the 2022 Q4 Golden Donks Wednesday 9PM and Composite leaderboards. This also earned him the induction into our Hee Hawl of Fame. snitty is one of our most active members having played in 161 games in 2021, 201 games in 2022, and 138 games to date in 2023.

Johnoliver joins the 500 club

It is my privilege to present to you @Johnoliver as the latest member of the 500 club. Johnoliver joined us in September 2020 in Silver Donks tier. He advanced to the Golden Donks at the end of 2020 Q4. In his second quarter with the Golden Donks, Johnoliver earned his first Golden crown by winning the 2021 Q2 Golden Donks Wednesday 3PM leaderboard. This also earned him the induction into our Hee Hawl of Fame. Johnoliver had several more high finishes on Golden Donks leaderboards. Most notably in 2022 Q1, he finished second on both the Sunday 3PM and Sunday 7PM leaderboards and third on the Composite leaderboard. Johnoliver is one of our most active members having played in 38 games in 2020, 172 games in 2021, 175 games in 2022, and 118 games to date in 2023.

Thanks to @chuckcox for recruiting me and staying after me and convincing me I could play at this level. Never could have made it to gold without that boost of confidence.

For this month’s DotM, we recognize a player who has been playing Donks for just 2 years now, but is already making a big mark. After joining 3rd quarter of 2021, the following quarter he dominated “late night” winning both the Sunday 7pm and the Wed 9pm, which also earned him an induction into the Hee Hawl of Fame, as well as advancement to Golden. For the 1st quarter in 2022, he won All Donks In, and finished 6th in the composite Golden standings. The second quarter he placed 2nd in the Wed 9pm rankings. In the 4th quarter, he climbed to 3rd in the Golden composite standings and finished 2nd in the American Championship. He continued his rise the next quarter by finishing 2nd in Golden composite and finishing also in the top 3 in both late games. In the 2nd quarter he “slipped” to 5th in the composite standings, but again won the Wed 9pm, along with taking the lead for the American Championship and placed 3rd in All Donks In. This quarter he remains at the top of the American Championship, was 3rd in the composite, as well as 1st in the Sunday 3pm and a 2nd in the Wednesday 9pm! Summarizing, he has played in 363 games, making final table 88 times, cashing over 50 times and winning 16 times! On top of all these accomplishments, he’s a pretty nice guy at the tables. Having said ALL that (Whew!), it is my honor and great pleasure to present the DotM for October 2023 to nafffy!
