I’m the PFR and led both streets. How much Ax do I have here? Like a crapton! When he jammed I thought this was going to be a kicker deal or maybe he’s drawing. Nope, “Sneaky 2-pair on flop, don’t care what she has, I’m good here!” I don;t think that this player is smart enough to rep AK. Could be wrong.
Villain ended up winning the tournament. I finished 4th. God, I’m having a horrible week.
I didn’t need to see more than the first half-second of the replay to tell that the effective stack size here is 15bb. Nobody should be folding flopped 2pair for 15bb. Villain should absolutely proceed as if they have the stone cold nuts.
On the flop, absolutely, but they no longer have two pair on the turn, they have a weak middle pair. Counterfeit 2-pair make the best bluffs, double blocking boats, but no ace is ever folding here, surely this is just a fold on the turn?
Then why didn’t he do it on the flop? I can fold top pair to a shove on that flop. Once the 2nd A hits the turn that board is fugly for 2nd and 3rd 2-pair. With my betting line what are the chances that I don’t have an A? It’s like slow playing a set and then shoving when the flush hits. Not smart.
