Lately whenever myself or someone at the table goes all in and loses to a lower stack thereby still having a few chips left the very next hand will then be a high pocket pair or an AK. It’s like the system wants to rub it in and say if you only would’ve waited one hand you would’ve had this to go all in with. It’s been happening nonstop.
I haven’t seen that situation consistantly, (but on a positive note) could that happen to give you a good chance to start rebuilding you’r stack? I have rebuilt a 24 chip stack after a big loss to finish in chips. Games never over til it’s over. GL at the tables !!
I find that these last few weeks I have lost to the smaller hand even on premium tables and yes I think it is getting worse not epidemic worse but a lot out there will say same but do not forget some times the signs are all there we just don’t see or understand them I’m guessing but No your not on your own
Is it the “system” telling you to wait, or poker telling you not to go all-in prematurely with garbage?
Nope. Not noticing that at all.
Here is one hand that I did notice the other day though.
UtG jams 20bb and gets called 4 times. Reveals A4o and loses to JJ, 97 (that flopped 2 pair) and A9s (that turned a flush). Only the 97s had a slightly smaller stack than him.
If he had waited one more hand, he would have been on BB and could have seen EVERYONE’S action before deciding to shove a marginal hand. He still had 20bb, he was not that desperate yet. Instead, he jammed pre from the worst possible position at the table which to do so.
