62 preflop gets rewarded in online poker?

I cannot believe that even in online free poker, somebody would go all in PREFLOP with 62…it happened to me as I always go preflop allin with AK… but the fact that Replay algorithm rewarded the 62 player - unreal. Well, he could be the player who was on youtube showing replay, goes by name of trooper97, used to play here but no longer…but maybe plays by a dif name…he was pointing out the dif bad ways to play online poker and how it doesn’t seem to matter since it was online. I try to play right but maybe I am playing wrong. I still don’t understand why the algorithm rewards bad play, over and over and over again.

Agree, I sound like a cry baby! Lol, ok.

Hi Peek,
Love your avi, you’re a fun player. A little loose for me, but crazy and fun. Don’t be discouraged. These things can happen anytime, you know - poker trolls from outside the community. We all have to deal with it from time to time. Replay runs a tight ship, I’d trust them to handle it. I don’t know the best way to do anything, maybe somebody can help here. Perhaps flag the player or report it somehow (I’ve never tried doing that before). The forum might not be the place for it. I’m still new and figuring this stuff out myself.
Good luck and see you soon!

Wrong hand

if you don’t believe the cards dealt are the result of a randomized shuffle you probably shouldn’t be playing here. If you do believe in the shuffle then… well I think the bad hand wins / bad play wins subject has been discussed here and elsewhere ad nauseum. When there are so many hands dealt per hour there will be those bad hands that win… bingo!. I believe good play wins out in the long run. I do understand your frustration… keep ur chin up :slight_smile:

62o has ~33% equity against AKo. It’s not really remarkable that it won. Rather than get upset at losing that hand, you should be thankful you’ve found someone who is going to donate multiple stacks to you in the long run, provided you’re not afraid to get in there and battle.

Hi my friend @Peekisapup , without seeing the hands played, the only advice I have is concentrate on playing your hand as best as possible. Fold when needed to play another hand to improve your position. And if we loose to a 26 or even worse for me a 27, consider them lucky provide a nh and move on to the next game.

I had the hand that won against VZo. I actually thought I had the best hand going into the river 2’s full–but he had me beat with 10’s full until the 4th 2 came on the river. I sometimes wonder about some of the beats-this one went my way. but I remember having quad K’s and getting beat by a K high strt flush. I think we have to take the good with the bad (and try not to get mad) Thanks

Thank you, Litenin and et al here…okay I agree, the better part of valor is to say nh (even though it chokes me) and to move on…everyone here is correct and thanks for listening to my woes…lol

@Peekisapup;
My mother told me that if anyone really annoys me, imagine them without any clothes on with a cabbage on their head trying to walk a tightrope!
It does actually work :yum:

I won’t complain but when I hit a certain number and split no one should complain either. It’s the only way to succeed here.

But is it really a “nh” when they’re just gambling with free chips and get rewarded ? C’mon man.

dont apologise for replay. I encounter this kind of play and worse every game. The algorithm is meant for the fish to win. Just remember, if you give them money, its not for poker, its for entertainment.

Just fold if you haven’t got the right odds.
