100k CONTEST POLL - Have you played live poker?

Live or online - just give me cards to play! Enjoy them both!

My whole family played penny-ante dealer’s choice as far back as I can remember. I continued playing on and off after I joined the Air Force. When Chris Moneymaker came on the scene, suddenly there were a lot more opportunities to play. I’ve played mostly Texas Hold 'Em since then, both tournament and ring. I wish my real life bankroll was like my Replay bankroll. I started on Replay in 2016, with my 2,000 free chips. I’m now approaching 30 million, all without ever having bought a single chip (sorry, Replay!).

Played at Strat once. Paid $60.00 buy in. Won the whole tournament.
Won $1200. Never played live since.

I can play for money in a Texas card room and do. Online poker for money is not allowed here. I enjoy the game but wish I had a better face.

I grew up in a Polish, Catholic neighborhood in Pittsburgh, PA. Every Friday evening, there would be a poker game in one of the relatives homes. I was four years old and I would sit on my daddy’s lap and he taught me the rules of the game. I was smart and had a relatively high IQ and learned the game quickly. When I was nine years old, I was playing in the games. I probably had six or seven hundred dollars saved up from all the tips I made over the years. I played very conservatively and I did not like to lose. When I was twenty, I got involved in a regular weekly game at a house with 5 or 6 70 year old cheaters, but I didn’t they were cheating. I decided to wait until I turned twenty-one and started going to Las Vegas about every six weeks or so. I’ve played poker in casinos in London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid. I’ve also played in Austria, in Peru, in Brazil, in Thailand. My favorite place though was in Vegas. I never felt that I was ever cheated. They took their cut from the pot and let us play mano-a- mano. Besides that, I got to meet The Rat Pack. I got to witness how tirelessly Frank Sinatra worked at being an entertainer and I say in all honesty, there will never be anyone like him ever again. He was the GOAT.

I played live poker in Las Vegas eight years ago. I would’ve even made it to the next round, but unfortunately, I had to call it a day because I was heading back the next morning and couldn’t just extend my trip. I wouldn’t handle it that way nowadays.

replay has helped my live play game

Yes, I have played many live games in Las Vegas, I was dealer there, I dealt black jack, roulette and live poker and craps. I started out at Nevada Hotel as a break in dealer and moved up to Jerrys Nugget and finally made it to Horseshoe casino loved it met and dealt to several celebs and sport stars and so many people from all over the world what a adventure I called it. But as most things fun especially getting paid, I decided to come back home to Tennessee I love it here married self employed and enjoying life to the fullest, I have to admit on-line is safe but I still believe there are many bots on poker sites and it is impossible to learn and watch players moves and motives on how they play, because watching people play amazes me sometimes, no risk involved so bust out every hand and loose most the time but keep trying you might win big. Good Luck everyone GOD BLESS all of you.

I’ve played poker in real life but without real money

At a dog track near me they started poker games but I didn’t think I was good enough since I’d only played online but I did pretty good…for a few months then it seemed the players changed to cut throat sharks. I just play online now

Play casino years ago now on pension would only be interested in low money games
