We tend to remember the suckouts, but forget the times we win. All one can do is size our bets to make it incorrect to chase, and if they chase anyway, they lose in the long run.
Going allin preflop with any 2 cards removes this ability to control the pot odds. It also removes the ability to vary your play depending on the texture of the flop. For exampleā¦
You hold the 2 red aces, bet 6 BBs, and 3 people call. The flop comes KKQ with 2 spades and no red. You bet 1/2 the pot, 2 people flat and the third puts in a big raise. You are probably beat, such is poker.
Overall, you would probably do better to bet enough preflop to get 1 or 2 callers, then shove the flop if the board looks good. Yeah, you might still get busted by a set now and then, and someone will go runner runner on you once in awhile, but your overall success will be better than just shoving preflop and hoping for the best.
If you are making proper +EV plays, you will profit in the long run. You will rarely be more than a 4-1 fav, so expect to get beat 20% of the time and bet correctly to make a profit on average. In tourney play, rarely risk it all without the nuts unless you are short and the blinds high.
There are too many special circumstances to cover them all. Poker is a complex game, but there are rules of thumb that cover most situations. Master the basics of EV and you will do better.

I feel your painā¦ if perspective is any salve at this point, it may be worth noting that the worst of these beats (QQ vs. 64o) is still not even 5:1 against the guy with the bad cards. So as much as it hurts when it happens, itās maybe not as unlikely as it āfeels like it should beāā¦
Keep at it you will beat all those opponents handily in the long run! <3

Yea itās becoming a serious issue. I havenāt had a single hand this month that didnāt end is s suck out. Aa kk qq all cracked. Itās ok once and a while but feel this ap only uses those hands to generate action and allow for bots to snag your roll. They are trying to get you to buy chips. Itās obvious Iāll jam with aa and 25 off with re-raise and catch the full house. For real? Itās like these āplayersā can see whatās gonna come out. Oh and donāt complain to customer service about issues with other players because they will warp your algorithm.
