30k some odd hands on replay, been here since march 2016,
Took an 8 year hiatus… been more avid and
Interested to play since january of 2024… my goal
Is to achieve the ever elusive discipline and
Patience so that i can go to vegas and test the
Waters… i dont know how many hands i actually
Play a day since i fold 85% of the time lol!
Believe you me, i hear about all the old donkeys
In vegas… they tilt me.. i will spend another 2 years
Or so…
Playing online before i get to the brick n mortar.
Explain to me why this is important?
203,007 hands Ă· 3,109 days since first play/account registered = (approx.) 65.3 hands/day
I have had extended breaks from this place. (Didn’t play at all in 2018…missed most of 2017…played only the final 3 months of 2021 mainly for the RPOS series.) I have probably played, say, maybe 1600 MTT’s and 200 SNG’s in total.
To put that into context…most of my volume is Hold’em High…I have played 104 Hold’em High MTT events so far this year according to the yearly leaderboard (granted it ignores the 30 or so 2.5M and 5M buy-in events I played). Lelaina (a perennial 250K-1M MTT grinder) already has logged 1445 such tournaments and TheSilent1 (an Opal League mainstay with an occasional 1M appearance here and there) has played 1279. So two of your top notch players and leaderboard/toplists front-runners nearly equal my entire 8.5-year volume in 6.5 months.
(You won’t find my stats in there as I am definitely not in the top 100 for best 180 results.)
You can find this info in your Statistics page in the drop-down menu located in the upper right of the Lobby page.
Somewhere between 164-491 daily in the ten days since I began tracking hands dealt. The low number was a Sunday on which I don’t usually play.
To be fair, I was tracking hands for a while before that, but only from a base of flops seen or won preflop. @Lihiue suggested fold rate was a critical stat, and that it was necessary to know how many hands I had been dealt.
Also, unlike that hopeless poker addict, @Lelaina , I play one rather than a gazillion tables at once.
Where does it say that it is?
Maybe Pat’s just trying to gauge how much of a Hold 'em enthusiast he is through comparison and make a few friends.
If you prefer to be snide, though, maybe you should backtrack and take a right turn at Albuqueruque. Best of luck on the tables.
The question i asked was asked in sincerity and i thank you for the first part of your answer.
If anyone was “snide” it was rude and uncalled for..BTW i’m from Wisconsin not Albuquerque I will now disregard the last part of your answer and put it where i put all “junk” mail…in the trash bib HAGD
If you were sincere, I apologize, but “explain to me why this is important” conveys a distinctly different tone to, say, “is this important?”
“I don’t understand why this is important,” is less confrontational, too, or maybe “please explain to me why this is important.”
As for Albuquerque, I can’t believe they didn’t show Bugs Bunny cartoons in Wisconsin. That’s just unAmerican.
thats the problem with the written word …hard to convey emotions ect.leads to lots of misunderstandings. Also no facial expressions …just my opinion

As the creator of this thread, I thank you for your answers.
I found it interesting, and I hope you did too.
Conclusion: Even with a small sample size, there’s a wider range of activity on this site
than I thought.
