Sick bike
Pity Yes, I sold it last year, I miss it to death already but at almost 60 my back is still saying thanks but gawd, so are my kidneys. But well cough cough, umm my new build is a totally different kettle of fish entirely.
Hope it went to a good home. Good luck with the new build, maybe post us a photo when you’ve finished
Laugh at me with myself as I admit I keep re-reading all your posts and looking at your photos.
Like Redcloud said, this is a great thread.
I never raced but love to ride.
I remember going from a 150 to a 600. Wow. Then a Honda Goldwing 1100. And then my baby, my Sweet Softail.
We did custom pipes and had a dyno in the back.
I used to drink gin with the guy that ran our chrome shop. Very cool guy.
Thanks all!!!
Have to agree,
I never raced on bikes, although it would have been a fun experience. But only on raced in racecars with a roll cage at a young age.
I love hearing why we chose our first Motorcycles, thanks everyone
I rode everything I could
It’s funny Litenin
I was out with my friend earlier and mentioned the biking tales from here, and I agree with Red, best on the forum, but I’m biased
He is the guy who gave me my present bike, he said to me it was for taking him and wee Mark to Goa 20 odd years ago, him and his son, single parent skint etc. And I took them to Goa for a month which they both enjoyed, I was doing well at the time, nice to be nice
All these years later he gave me a motorbike, I believe in what goes around comes around, kindness repaid by kindness, I gave a bike away he gave a bike away, karmic forces I reckon, no religion just people being nice and decent
Jesse James made appearances at our promotions, so I got to drink with him a couple times. He had product lines and I was the finance guy who paid his royalties…
Good times indeed.
Seems like I do remember a run like that, but I thought my Brother’s 66 GTO (389 CI - 6 Pack) finished a close second LOL
