Mine too (or did RIP) I snuck away from a Christmas party in 70s cut my hair wrapped in in a shoe box and gave it to her 
She didn’t notice the hair cut right off

I’m 55, still get told that I have to shave my beard off for special occasions!
Last year I got in trouble for wearing shorts on Christmas Day. 40 degrees Celsius (104f) is no excuse!
