I helped a close friend by listening to his problems.
What a great topic!
Crack of dawn, I was out feeding our feathered friends. April has been cold, we are still having the occasional sprinkle of snow, and my fingers were freezing. But I know it’s spring, because the young adult starlings were more interested in chasing each other around than they were in freshly chopped peanuts! Haha, spring. Also, for the 3rd time this week, I heard the song of a cardinal, which made my day. We lost the pair we had when developers brought the wrecking ball to our neighbourhood a couple of summers ago, and it was great to hear them back.
On returning to the building, I found a neighbour outside, having her morning smoke, in tears. She had been woke up, once again, by the rooster that lives next door. Life has been tough for her lately, and though I’m a big proponent of keeping chickens, I kept my lips zipped, and comforted her.
Ah, I hear the blue jay calling out a ‘thank you’ for the peanuts. Seize those moments of bliss, people! Carpe diem.
They left fortified for happy hour.
Oy oy oy! that is too funny, and I love it. You’ve got mail … surprise! hahahaha
Words to live by. Thanks for sharing this amazing dream!
Nice, very nice. I did almost the same thing, I ended up making breakfast for my overnight guest and called her an Uber
Oh, I was lucky in poker today!
I bought my almost 9 year old grandson his own laptop today for his birthday Monday even tho there are many in his house I bought already. He needs his own. No sharing and I can understand that.
Very nice!! Craig you are a wonderful grandpa. Wish you were mine…hehe
Worked in the yard with my beautiful wife who has been the love of my life for 48 years and counting. Never go wrong doing things together.
Today was my grandsons 9th birthday. My daughter offered him the day out of school and he refused. He’s such a well rounded young man and knows his responsibilities so after school, Mama, Grandpa , Ryan and his Grandma went to see the new Mario movie, out to eat, then all went back to grandmas house for cake and presents,( except me) I have a hard time in my old house with her husband there. Another magical birthday for my boy. I am so blessed cherish all your days as they go by so fast. Ps. I bought the hero gift according to my grandson but don’t say anything he was crying on the phone.
This is so sweet. Due to diabetes I will never have children and I won’t adopt. But I know I can live vicariously through you my friend…hehe
Keep these wonderful moments coming!!
helllo from france
Did a friends tax return
I went to my mother house, did the cooking. I bought a red wine bottle. And we spent great time together.
She is 81 yo, and lives alone.
I filled out my organ donation forms ( after being screened) and signed them.
Give the gift of life …
I saved a Whale
I doubt if this qualifies as being done just because I’m nice but…
My neighbor, a single dad with 4 kids, did me a favor so I smoked 2 chickens and made a dozen biscuits for him and his kids for dinner. More of a barter then just being nice but he’s a good neighbor and they like my cooking.
I put two friends together, one needed a new house to rent after a breakup and the other had a house to rent but lying empty for several months as he suffers from depression and was unable to deal with it, a win win
I also administered naxalone to an overdosed client and most definitely saved his life, so I suppose that also counts as a nice thing
Outstanding!!! God bless ya
Since I couldn’t help out at my church’s love give-a-way, I went to the store and bought several boxes of donuts to give to the volunteers that were there.
