(related to 1.) when someone calls your river bet with a losing hand, there is no way to quickly retrieve the information about what they had if they muck
Site doesn’t even offer the most basic stats, and the stats it does offer are almost useless/suggest the people running the site don’t know poker/have never even bothered to Google “what are useful stats for poker?”
There are more long-standing issues, but I intend to take it upon myself at least once a year to publicly complain about the fact that these problems still exist.
I think it’s frankly inexcusable. I don’t need another Spring Fling promo or whatever; I need the interface which the site is literally named after to work like it wasn’t built on Hypercard in 1997.
Why is this never addressed? Why are there YEARS of threads begging for the same very basic, minor improvements, with periodic responses from staff/reps saying “we’re going to look into that!” (clearly a lie)
Hypercard in '97 for me is Commodore 64. , but yes, it would be nice to not find out what the player in the previous hand played before the following hand is completed and another has begun.
I tried to check on one today, and they were eliminated before the review played out. Why not show a screen capture of the completed hand with a button to play the hand if we desire?
As for the stats, I know Younguru desires more complex analysis, but I would settle for better organization and one change.
Tournament points should be on the lower level with the friends’ stats.
The top row should be Total Hands Played, Flops Seen, and Pots Won.
Hands Folded is utterly useless. It should be replaced by Hands Folded PreFlop.
Also, since these are stats for one’s entire Replay history, it would be nice if an option to see the numbers for our past 200, 500 or 1,000 hands (you choose) was included.
Hands folded is very useful for figuring out how often you get to showdown, which can give you W$SD and WTSD percentages which are useful, but obviously not as good as just displaying those stats in the first place.
Hands Folded PreFlop you can figure out by subtracting Flops Seen from hands played, but given how often you’ll be able to just complete in the BB, this could be quite a but different to VPIP, and there’s no way you can calculate your PFR percentage, and those are the two most important stats.
