Thought of the Day

“Easy come, easy go” is a phrase that means something gained easily is often lost just as easily.

It suggests that if you acquire something without much effort, you might not value it highly, and it might not last long.

This can apply to money, relationships, opportunities, and more.

It’s a reminder that things earned through hard work and dedication are often more appreciated and enduring.

“Nothing that comes and goes is you.”

Our true essence isn’t tied to fleeting thoughts, emotions, or external circumstances. Here’s a closely related quote from his work:

“You are not your mind.”

This idea encourages us to identify with our deeper consciousness rather than the transient experiences and thoughts that come and go. It’s a powerful reminder to seek inner peace and stillness.

Is this gambling, I believe it’s not if you think about it and are actively preventing a loss.

I’ll put what a friend sent me
One day, the father of a very wealthy family takes his son to the countryside to show him another way of life.
So the young boy spent a few days on the farm of a very modest family.

On his return, the father asks his son: "Did you like your stay?
“It was fantastic, Dad! "
“Have you seen how much less fortunate people live?” The father asks.
" Ah yes ! », Answers the son.
"So what did you learn? "
The son answers him:
"I saw we have one dog when they have four.
We have a pool which is half the garden and they go to a cove with a beautiful waterfall.
We have lanterns in our garden and they have stars all over the sky.
We have a large garden in front of the house and they have the horizon.
We have a domain, but they have fields as far as the eye can see.
We buy our food and they grow it.
We have walls around our property to protect us. They have friends who protect them. "

The father was silent.

The son added, "Thank you, Dad, for showing me everything we don’t have. "

Last week on my way to work I had to use the headlights, and it was daylight heading home. This week I used no headlights to work, but headlights to go home.

Thought of the day:

Revolving to Evolving Doors

  • Smart Doors: With the rise of smart home technology, doors equipped with features like facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, and remote control might become more common. These doors could enhance security and convenience.
  • Virtual and Automatic Barriers: In certain high-tech environments, physical doors might be replaced by invisible barriers like laser grids or force fields that can allow or deny access.
  • Integrated Systems: Doors could become part of integrated systems that manage not only access but also climate control, lighting, and even soundproofing.
  • Aesthetic and Conceptual Shifts: In some modern architectural designs, open spaces and fluid layouts reduce the need for traditional doors, relying more on partitions, screens, or other flexible separators.

The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.

Are humans classified as animals?

Humans can move on their own and are placed in the animal kingdom. Further, humans belong to the animal phylum known as chordates because we have a backbone. The human animal has hair and milk glands, so we are placed in the class of mammals. Within the mammal class, humans are placed in the primate order.

Speak or bark softly and carry a big stick?

The full quote reads: “Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.” Roosevelt’s idea was that one should negotiate peacefully and try to avoid conflict, but also have the ability to use force if necessary to achieve one’s goals.
